The Company

Established in 1991, Adel System design and manufactures industrial power supplies based on Linear and Switching technology. The know-how developed in these years enables ADEL to satisfy a wide range of applications in industrial automation.

Technology:

During the past years, the development effort has focused on switching technology. We can now meet the most demanding requirements for AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, UPS systems and battery chargers. The experience of our engineering team, always facing new challenges, insures high quality and cost-effi ciency of our products.

Quality:

Aware that even a short interruption of service can cause large material and economic losses, 100% of ADEL’s products are tested and commissioned in the factory. Each product undergoes functional tests,12 or 24-hour run-in test at maximum operating voltage and current, and all the test required for CE marking. This is part of our continuing improvement policy, which aims to deliver highly reliable products to our Clients. Special attention is given to components’ selection. For istance the PSM and the PST product ranges feature long duration electrolytic capacitors with maximum working temperature of 105°C. The compatibility with CE requirements on electromagnetic interference is tested in our internal laboratory.

Applications:

The wide range of products, from a few watts to the kW size, allows technical expert to have a wide choice for each application. When special requirements of our Clients demand for a customized product, ADEL’s engineering staff is fast and fl exible.

Approvals:

All ADEL’s products are CE marked. The PSM range are cCSAus certifi ed according to European Standards EN60950, US UL60950, Canada CAN/CSA C22.2 N. 60950-00.

Installation:

Our products are the winning solution especially when installed inside control panels. They are all equipped with DIN rail mounting clip. They are easily installed and removed without the need of special tools and are safe against accidental falls.

Capacity Reserve:

All our products have been developed with two key parameters: they can be switched on with capacitive loads up to 30,000µF and they all have a 10% reserve above rated current. This allows our units to withstand the high transient currents associated with normal applications.
