Every day, throughout the Order, members
of the Knights of Columbus are making adifference. Unfortunately, our good works
are sometimes our best-kept secret. We want people throughout the countries where
the Order is present, to know about the hard work that Knights and their families do
make their communities better places. To help in this effort please submit your
activities to kofc.org/knightsinaction.

As we approach the halfway mark of the fraternal year, now is the time to plan for
stronger recruitment efforts over next six months. Keep your councils focused on
recruiting One Member, per Council, per
Month, and schedule monthly First Degree ceremonials in your district to help them
meet that goal. You may also remind your grand knights of
the new Council Challenge incentives, which reward councils with VIP points for bringing
in 12 new members for the fraternal yearRemember that the surest way to reach your
goals as a district deputy is to motivatbest councils to achieve Star Council
Encouragement from you at this time of year may inspire a council to reach this

forms, certificates and a step by step guide on conducting a championship. Order kits for
these activities by using the appropriate council report forms booklet (#1436) or at

The 2015 Special Olympics Provincial Winter
Games, hosted by the
City of North Bay and North Bay Police
Service is set for
January 29th to February 1st, 2015, 2015

The Games will be the stage for more than
300 athletes and
150 coaches from across Ontario

A Donation to the Parish Resource
Library St. Francis Xavier Council 12067 recently donated DVD's and books to the newly set-up St. Francis Xavier Parish Resource Library. The items were presented to Alice Lim on behalf of the council by Edwin D'Cruz, GK and Sunil Mudalige, Council Librarian.
Bingo Session for Senior Residents
The St. Francis Xavier Council holds a monthly bingo session for senior residents of
the Carmel Heights Seniors' Residence, Mississauga.. DGK Patrick Bajcar along with
brother knights Sunil and Carlo conducted the November bingo session.

Once again, the St. Josephine Bakhita Council 14676 and the Credit Valley Council
8661 have grouped their resources to organize the "Annual Voices for Christ"
choir competition. The event will takeon November 14, 2014, at St. Joseph
School.
Mississauga Santa Clause Parade
Knights from District 102 volunteermarshal at the Santa Claus parade on
