An Advent Message from the Director of Education York Catholic District School Board
To our cherished community members, On behalf of all of us at the York Catholic District School Board, I would like to extend our warm wishes to you as we head into the Advent season. During this joyous time, we prepare ourselves for the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ at Christmas. In our schools, students are busy preparing for the season with musical concerts and Nativity plays, community service projects and, most importantly, through a deepened time of prayer to welcome another blessed year. Since this season is also about giving thanks, we want to thank you for your support as we continue our goal of providing every one of our students the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe, caring, and faith-filled environment. We are so fortunate to collaborate with our families, parishes, and community partners. As we prepare our hearts and minds for Christmas, I pray that this season of Advent will be a grace-filled opportunity for you and your family to be with one another.
