• 3C model – compact, connected and coordinated (Floater et al. 2014)– compact urban growth: through managed
expansion and/or urban retrofitting that encourages higher densities, contiguous development, functionally and socially mixed neighborhoods, walkable and human-scale local urban environments, the redevelopment of existing brownfield sites and provision of green spaces.
