From the Pastor Let me begin this week just by saying, “THANK YOU!”
Your acts of kindness, notes of encouragement, cards,
and gifts have been amazing. I definitely feel appreciated by
each of you. It is an honor and tremendous blessing to be
pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church. You have shown
kindness to my family as well, something a husband and
father always notices. So, thank you again.
I would like to thank Kevin Little in advance for teaching Wednesdays,
November 8 and 15th. He has been working on presentations of “Creation”
& “The Flood” which he will share on those nights at 6:30. I hope you will
come and take part! Also, thank you to Josh for taking care of preaching on
November 12. Both men are preparing to share what the Lord has revealed to
each of them. Bring your family and friends!
We will begin a new series this Sunday, “Habakkuk: Strong Faith for Confusing
Times.” This message is very relative for our times and will encourage us to
think about the goodness of our Heavenly Father. This series will be presented
in morning and evening services in order to finish before all of our holiday
festivities.
As we enter this season of thanksgiving, I hope you will spend some time
thanking the Lord for all He has done, is doing, and promises to do. He is busy
and active all around us. May we notice, answer His calling, rejoice, and be
thankful for His invitation to be involved!
Thank you! Bro. Tommy
