This 501c3 not-for-profit group operates as part of the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas, and was designed to promote and support the Farmstead. Memberships (includes free admission for one year) Family Membership: Overland Park Resident — $35 | Non resident — $50 Patron Membership: $100 Farm Trail and Schoolhouse Bricks — $50 each. Benches and Swings — Bench donations are $400 and swings are $500. Sunflower Club — Available from $500 – $5,000. Beverly’s Butterfly Garden — Houses are $200 each, and benches are $400. For detailed information about all of these programs, please pick up a supplement brochure. This beautiful and diverse park provides a fun, safe and educational farm environment that cultivates an appreciation of farm life, wildlife and Kansas Heritage. Vic’s General Store Step back in time to experience a place where farmers came from miles around to purchase supplies. Alex & Emily’s Ice Cream Parlor Outfitted with an authentic turn of the century back bar and featuring hand-dipped ice cream. Kansas Indian Encampment See an earthen lodge filled with artifacts and furs. Nature Trail Be sure to visit the Butterfly Garden, Chime Garden and Repose Area. Helen’s Country Schoolhouse A re-creation of a 1900s one-room schoolhouse. Master Gardeners Enjoy the beauty of an area that is planted and kept by the Master Gardeners of Johnson County. Prairie Playground & Pedal Tractors See the log cabin, fort, sand pit, swings and all the slides. Or go take a ride around the track.
