Dear Church Leader,Welcome to the 2016 A2 Conference!

We have been preparing and anticipating your arrival and are full of expectation for an incredible A2 Conference! It has to be said that one of the greatest aspects of this conference are the pastors and leaders who are in attendance, and yes that means YOU! We appreciate every sacrifice and effort you have made to be here. Many of you have traveled hundreds, even thousands of miles to join us. We would love to acknowledge your commitment to see God move through our MFI community and for yourself to be refreshed and inspired to continue the great work the Lord has commissioned you to do in your congregations and city.  As we are stepping into this next season, we will not be satisfied to live in the past or staying where we have been, but rather desire to move into the future with great faith. After much discussion with the Apostolic Team we felt the resounding sound of “NEXT” in our hearts. It’s our heart that every leader would go to the NEXT level. We believe your church has a NEXT level. Your people have a NEXT, and our movement has a NEXT.

In order to move into the NEXT, we must first let go and exit the old and step into this pivotal moment in history.  As leaders we are at the threshold of entry into the future God has designed especially for us. The Holy Spirit has gone before us and will take us where He is going.

What is your NEXT? What will it take to get there? Who will go with you? The NEXT great leaders are in the making and I believe you can be one of them! So join us as we all move on to the NEXT.

Philippians 3:13-14 (ESV) | Jeremiah 29:7 | Ps. 32:8

Let us step out of the ordinary to the extraordinary, let us go to the NEXT…

Network GroupMeetings

Over the last 28 years MFI has

worked hard to successfully serve

Lead Pastors everywhere. Over the

course of those years it became

more and more evident that one

of the best ways to do this was

by equipping and connecting key

leaders in every local church- not

just Lead Pastors. To meet this need,

MFI created networks of ministry

leaders serving in key areas of the

local church. These networks exist

to facilitate communication and

relationships as well as the sharing

of resources, ideas, structures and

strategies being used by different

leaders in the same areas of ministry.

Members can join network groups through the MFI website and immediately connect to other members in their group.

Children’s Leadership Network

Children’s ministry is an effective key to facilitating church growth. The Children’s Leadership Network is a team of children’s pastors and leaders, led by a children’s pastor, intended to facilitate communication, connect resources, and share ideas that build dynamic children’s ministries. Having great leaders in this area of ministry produces outstanding results not only for the church, but also for the leader, who benefits from encouragement received from like-minded leaders.

Church Administration Network

The Church Administration Network is a vital resource for those leading churches of any size with lay administration or a staff leader. The pastor doesn’t always have the time or resource to equip this person and develop him or her to serve the church with excellent budgeting, health care, technology, and implementing systems that maximize the church’s effectiveness. This group helps the administrator develop strategies, systems, policies and more to effectively handle the administration of the local church.

Generation to GenerationSummary: God has put grace in all generations and we are called to serve and receive from each other. God doesn’t replace one generation with the next but rather uses the unique strengths of each to extend His

kingdom that His next may be fulfilled. How can we labor alongside each other generation

to generation?

Bio: Bob Johnson has been the Senior Pastor of New City since its planting (as Great Falls Christian Center)

in 1981. Ever since, he and his wife Cindy have shown their dedication to planting and strengthening churches, equipping leaders

and loving the body of Christ. Bob’s grace as a builder, strength as a leader, and his tenacity for relationship have resulted in healthy churches and missionary works that continue to thrive today. Bob and Cindy have four wonderful children; Amy, Abigail, Rachel and Ryan. They have also welcomed several grandchildren into their growing family that they enjoy very much. In addition to his leadership role at New City, Bob serves as chairman for the Advance Church Network and serves churches throughout the Northwest area as the Intermountain North Regional Director for Ministers Fellowship International.

EnduranceSummary: Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” God is building one thing on Earth, the church! This breakout will discuss the 12 musts of church planting.

Bio: Jonathan Owens (J.O.) and his wife, Raydeane, are the lead pastors of Heart of the City Church in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Along with a team of 12 people, they church planted in 2006, and today, Heart of the City is a thriving body of believers. Before their time as lead pastors, J.O. and Raydeane were youth pastors in Northern California and Southern Idaho for nearly a decade, as well as associate pastors at City Harvest Church in Vancouver, Washington for 7 years. They have two adult children, Seth and Jaymee, who are married and currently serve with their spouses at Heart of the City Church. J.O. is passionate about seeing people come to know Christ in a deep and personal way. His message is derived from encounters with a very living and active God, and his hope is that the leaders of this generation will receive an impartation of faith and boldness to wreck their cities for Jesus.

increase in whatever area of ministry we are called.  Applying these principles will help you become more

fruitful and effective!
