2. Location . 3. Taste Of Ethiopia 4. Facts 5. Fun Facts . Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee. One of the only African nation to never be colonized. The Battle of Adwa is the one out of two attempts Italy was defeated against Ethiopia trying to colonize it. Approx. the size of France and Spain combined. Ethiopia has 13 months, and it is currently 2006. 6. Fun Facts & The Bible . Ethiopia adopted Christianity in the 4th century, making it one of the oldest Christian nations in the world. Ethiopia claims to hold the Ark of the Covenant as well as a piece of the True Cross on which Jesus was crucified. Ethiopia is known as the Cradle of Mankind, with some of the earliest ancestors found buried in the soil. (Lucy 3.5 million years old) 7. Continued . Moses & His Habesha Wife: Moses was married to Tzipporah. Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. -Numbers 12:1 Mariam was later punished by God and was casted away for 7 days & was made a leprous. 8.
