Dear Friend and Colleague, It is with great enthusiasm that I personally welcome you to the 10th International Association of Clinical Research Nurses’ Annual Conference in Arlington Virginia, as we ‘Celebrate the Many Faces of Clinical Research Nurse Advocacy’
In celebration of our 10th Anniversary IACRN will be hosting a 3-day conference this year, offering many more opportunities to network with international clinical research nurses, forums for discussion and exchange best practices, and a chance to learn from experts. There will be many prominent speakers, along with information-packed workshops. We would be delighted to have you join us at this conference to hear what our national and international colleagues have to share about clinical research. As IACRN makes strides to advance clinical research nursing practice globally, I encourage you to become involved; assist in developing, disseminating, and promoting nationally and internationally accepted practices for clinical research nursing. You will hear important updates from the Board and Committee Chairs at the conference that may help you identify an area of interest. I look forward to the opportunity to learn and celebrate clinical research nursing with you! Most Sincerely, Mary Jane Williams, DNP, MPH, RN, NE-BC President, IACRN

Our Vision
Enhancing clinical research quality and safety through specialized nursing practice.
Our Mission
The International Association of Clinical Research Nurses is a professional nursing organization. Its purpose is to define, validate and advance clinical research nursing as a specialty practice and to
support the professional development of registered nurses who directly or indirectly impact the care of clinical research participants across all clinical specialties.
Our Members
Clinical Research Nursing is the specialized practice of professional nursing focused on maintaining equilibrium between care of the research participant and fidelity
to the research protocol. This specialty practice incorporates human subject protection, care coordination and continuity, contribution to clinical science, clinical practice, and study
management throughout a variety of professional roles, practice settings, and clinical specialties.
