Training Course, “Introduction to Collaborate Ultra for Web Conferencing”,

SFA Center for Teaching & Learning. (August 15, 2016). In this session, participants learned about and had hands-on practice with

Collaborate Ultra, a powerful, multimedia web conferencing tool that integrates with D2L, and can easily be used in online courses.

Training Course, “Introduction to Panopto for Lecture Capture”, SFA Center

for Teaching & Learning. (August 15, 2016). In this workshop, participants were introduced to Panopto, a lecture

capture system that can be used to record lectures in the classroom or at your desk, is integrated with D2L, and the recordings are made available to the students.

Training Course, “Property Management – Equipment Manager/Designee

Refresher Training course,” Property services of SFASU. (May, 2015) This was a required training course designed to inform employees of

potential hazards and safety measures to employ in using SFA property, namely, computers.

Conference Attendance, “TAER 2015 “A Lifetime of Learning: Covering All the

Bases”, Texas Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TAER), Arlington, Texas. (March 26, 2015 – March 28, 2015. This international conference offered a great environment in which to continue developing our expertise in the field of teaching students with visual impairment, including many division tracks focusing on the field-specific areas, networking with colleagues, and presentations by many vendors to demonstrate products critical to our work.

National Braille Association, San Antonio, Texas. (October 25, 2012 - October 27, 2012). This conference brings braille transcribers, teachers, and parents together

to bring them up to date on the braille code, formats, and rules needed to

teach and produce braille products of excellence to students with visual

impairments.

TEXAS AER, Houston, Texas. (March 29, 2012 - March 30, 2012).

The conference was held for over 300 attending professionals, including

TVIs, COMS, rehab specialists, consultants, university professors,

company reps, advocates, and parents, who strive for excellence in

providing services to individuals with visual impairment.

Shoestring", SWOMA, Austin, Texas. (November 10, 2011 - November

This conference gave Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialists needed
