Here at the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology, we strive to create an experience unlike any other for our members; one that our leaders and partners would agree is the leading undergraduate business experience. We have grown significantly over the past several years and have been continuously raising the standard for ourselves. As a skill building and competitive team, we aim to prepare and equip our members to be the industry’s cutting edge.

But in order to do so, a lot of work and preparation goes into our events and workshops that drives our team forward. This is where we need your help. This sponsorship package outlines a variety of ways your company can contribute to the success of DECA UOIT in the upcoming academic year. Who are we?DECA at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is a student driven organization that values creativity, guidance, teamwork and opportunities. DECA UOIT will present the tools and resources necessary in order to guide students towards our present and future goals.

We seek to equip our delegates with new skills that can be applied in both their personal life and/or professionally in today’s business world. These skills vary from basic networking etiquette, to team building and problem solving. Students by the end of the semester will become experienced leaders who can demonstrate leadership through their experience here at DECA UOIT.

This type of club gives the perfect path for students ultimately focused on business-related fields. Therefore we encourage students to take part in this spectacular opportunity.

DECA is a professional business club that has impacted millions of students, educators, school administrators and business professionals. DECA creates strong connections with a variety of organizations, giving people the opportunity to experience the preparation for being great leaders and entrepreneurs.

DECA also supports more than 15,000 students through 200 university and college chapters to set-up their own activities, conferences, business simulations (case competitions), and other socializing events. This may lead students to access internships, scholarships, competition and professional networking. This will give all the major university students the chance to compete, network, and learn from each other.

Many major universities in Canada host an invitational for students from all the DECA chapters to compete, and network. The competitions typically involve business simulations (also known as case competitions), in which students are given a finite amount of time to complete and then present to a judge. Winners will be chosen in each category and will also have the chance to compete internationally with other countries.

What is DECA?

Since DECA UOIT builds professional development opportunities for future leaders, it will allow these students to be one step ahead of competition. Investing in DECA UOIT would offer your organization the opportunity to be a part of these potential leaders growth into professional excellence. Though we come from various faculties, we are all passionate about our mission: to Dream, Achieve, and Inspire.

Our Mission Our mission begins with DECA’s motto of Dream, Achieve, and Inspire. We strive to assist and support our delegates to succeed in any future opportunities by further building their communication, presentation and networking skills. We also seek to facilitate events and opportunities to allow our delegates to exercise their various skills and networking abilities.

Our VisionThe DECA UOIT executive team is dedicated to presenting an atmosphere in which allows our members to take the necessary steps towards being the leaders of the future. Since the growth of our members is crucial, we also hope to collaborate with other clubs and societies in our campus to give our members the maximum level of exposure to possible opportunities.

Sponsorship PackagesThere are various ways you can support DECA at UOIT through our sponsorship options. These packages vary in the degree at which you are involved with us. The following outlines our sponsorship packages that are available.

Being involved with DECA UOIT provides you with a great opportunity for you and your company to be exposed to thousands of students. By sponsoring DECA UOIT, you allow us to be a bridge between our student members and the industry.

CateringYour organization could provide refreshments or food for our events throughout the year.

PrintingYour organization could sponsor DECA by printing promotional material such as flyers, business cards, posters/banner and etc.

Gift BagsYour organization could provide products for gift bags or exclusive prizes to be raffled at our events.

Company Promotional BagsYour oganization could provide products with your company’s logo such as pens, shirts, note pads, and water bottles

VolunteerA major contribution your company can make to our DECA chapter is volunteering your time. This would entail representatives from your firm coming out to our events as guest speakers.

Bronze $250We will promote your company on our social media and website as well as at our events by using your logo on our print and digital media.

We will also distribute company’s business cards at select off campus events.

Silver $500In addition to whats included in the bronzze package, we will provide weekly updates about your business on our social media. You will also be invited to attend and present your business at our workshops and meetings.

We will also distribute any promotional products such as pens, posters, flyers, etc. at selected off-campus events. (must be provided)

Gold $750In addition to what is included in the bronze and silver packages, we will distribute company promotional materials at our events and display your logo during DECA’s anual provincial case competition registration booth.

We will also promote job listings/recruitments at our events.

Platinum $1000+As gold member you will be an exclusive sponsor for our largest off – campus event. You have the option of having a display table at our event and your logo will be printed on posters to be posted at all off –campus events.

Your Company’s logo will also be on ALL our member’s t-shirts (which will be worn at our provincials)
