Liturgical Minister Training ScheduledLiturgical Ministry training will be held this weekend (Decem-ber 14th,15th) immediately after all Masses. The short training sessions will be held simultaneously-led by parishioners-in different areas of the church/sacristry/gathering area for ushers, lectors, greeters, sacristans and Eucharistic Ministers. Anyone interested in serving as a Liturgical Minister is encouraged to attend. Sign up forms for new volunteers will be available at each session. Current Liturgical Ministers are encouraged, but not required to attend.

School Advisory Board Meeting ScheduledThe next regularly scheduled meeting of the School Advisory Board will be Wednesday, December 18th at 5:15 pm, location to be announced later. For more information, contact Traci Heese at [email protected].

Calling All MusiciansDo you play the organ, piano, guitar, or other musical instrument? Would you like to offer your talents at our parish weekend Masses? Call the parish office or contact Bob Woodley ([email protected]) if you are interested.

Attention LectorsThe 2020 edition lector book is available to be picked up in the parish office. You will be asked to sign for your copy.

Christmas Flower Donations SoughtDonations for the purchase of Christmas flowers for the Church are being accepted. Please place your donation in an envelope labeled “Christmas Flower Donation” , include any names of people you wish to have

remembered, and place it in the offertory basket at Mass. Donations may also be turned in to the parish office staff.

Volunteers sought for the Art and Environment GroupThe Art and Environment Group seeks adults, college students, and teens preparing for confirmation to assist with liturgical decoration of the Church. Volunteers give the gifts of time and talent for the enhancement of the liturgy and so for the glory of God. They care for and arrange the plants/flowers, fabrics, linens and candles seen at Mass. Help is always needed in preparation for special feast days and solemnities, but also on a smaller scale throughout the year. If you enjoy plant/flower care, like to iron or sew, or are just willing to carry items up and down stairs and assist with set-up and take down, please consider joining. A schedule for Advent and Christmas is now available. For more information, contact Linda Virant at [email protected] or call and leave a message at (573)201-1099.
