Summary Torrance real estate activity in the month December produced a 7.7% improvement in the median sales price, 36.5% drop in the median days to sell, and a 9.2% increase in the sales-listing ratio. During this time, unfortunately, total sales decreased 8.0% while net listings shrunk by 15.7%. Year-over-year months of inventory data point shows a net 0% change from 2015 to 2016.

In December, C.A.R. reported ““Demand for homes continued to outstrip supply, causing the Unsold Inventory Index to decline to 3.1 months in November from 4.2 months in November 2015.” http://www.car.org/newsstand/newsreleases/2016releases/nov2016sales?view=Standard
