This is our home meet! Students need to be at the church by 9:30 am and will be done around 1:00-1:30 pm. We are responsible to provide lunch for everyone.. if you would be willing to make a dish for this event, please communicate with Carrie

Ski Trip to Winterplace -- High School Only—Jan 18
Students meet at church and leave at 7 am. They will return for pick-up between 6:45-7:15 pm. Meals will be provided. Whether your student is skiing or tubing, they will be responsible for their own costs. For pricing, go

IYC Missions Experience -- June 29-July 9th
Current 8th-12th graders are eligible to attend the 2014 Missions trip/International Youth Convention Trip. Come serve inner city Memphis for 5 days and then experience a world-class experience as we attend the International Youth Convention of the Church of God at the Gaylord Opryland Resort for 5 days! Experience the sights and sounds of Nashville on the 4th of July and worship with nationally known
musicians and artists!
Cost of this event is $900 and is all-inclusive (transportation, food, lodging, missions experience, conference registration and sight seeing activities!) Sign-up before January 15th -- A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due on or
prior to that date as well.

Exciting News
God has heard our prayers for a new children's pastor. After reviewing many resumes, having several SKYPE and phone and face to face interviews with candidates, God has brought the person to us that we feel He has hand-picked for TVCOG. We are pleased to
announce that Jodi Gramlich will be here to
candidate the weekend of January 11th and 12th. Raised by Church of God children's ministry pastors, Jodi is a graduate of Warner University and is almost finished with a Master of Education degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. She most recently has been the children's pastor at a Church of God in Doniphan, Missouri. She has served other Church of God congregations in children's ministry and has experience running an After School program. She is a curriculum writer, gymnast, worship dancer, and cheerleading coach. Please pray for Jodi as she prepares to come! Children's Ministry Volunteers and parents of nursery age children through the fifth grade please mark your calendars to attend special events just for
children, parents, and workers on Saturday, January 11th.

Come out and learn some great helpful self-defense moves that can help you if you ever were in a situation or emergency. They are great and simple moves and for everyone. Teens are encouraged to come too. Carmen Combs will be instructing this class and for a 2 hour class its only $10. Also she will have products from her home based business Damsel in Defense if you would like to purchase. Please RSVP so we know how many she can

Saturday, January 11th 10:00-11:30 a.m. Preschool Event All nursery and preschool parents and volunteers in these areas of ministry are invited to come and watch as Jodi ministers to the preschool children. A question and answer time will follow. 12:00 p.m. Leadership Luncheon All Trustees, Staff and Ministry Directors are invited to a luncheon with Jodi here at the church. 4:00 p.m. Elementary Kids' Event All elementary kids and their parents and all workers who volunteer in our elementary ministry are invited to come and watch as Jodi ministers to the elementary children. Pizza Party at 5:00 with questions and answer time to follow.
