Thursday, December 28Classic Southern Cooking Demo in Tavola, 1-2 p.m. Experience the recipes of Mrs. S. R. Dull, one of the South’s first “celebrity chefs.” Her cookbook Southern Cooking was published in 1928 and is considered a must-have for Southern cooks. Complimentary. Reservations not required. s

“Sea Island History” with archivist Mimi Rogers, 1-2 p.m.––Join Mimi Rogers on a walking tour of The Cloister. Walk to the Spanish Lounge where she will concentrate on the early history of Sea Island and its founder Howard Coffin, a pioneer in automotive engineering. Mimi will also touch on the history of the island before Coffin purchased it and discuss the U.S. Presidents and other leaders who have visited. Meet in The Cloister Lobby. Complimentary. Roaring 20’s Cocktail Hour in the Georgian Room Lounge, 1-2 p.m.––The martini has had many iterations over the years, but in the 1920’s it was in its heyday and made with America’s then-favorite spirit, gin. New Year’s Eve Attire Wondering what to wear to your New Year’s Eve event? In keeping with the traditional Sea Island holiday dress code, each New Year’s Eve event has been designated

with specific dress requirements. Please refer to each event’s description for appropriate indication. Appropriate attire required at 5 p.m. in all areas. n Resort Casual; well-kept denim and flip flops

New Year’s Eve Access To enhance the New Year’s Eve experience for guests, members, and guests of members, access to all Sea Island celebrations will be available only to ticket

holders and those with dining reservations.

Complimentary New Year’s Eve tickets will be provided for:

• Sea Island Club members and guests of members with restaurant or special event dining reservations

• Resort Guests (based on lodging reservation) • Children ages 12 and younger

Tickets are $35/person for:

• Sea Island Club members and guests of members who do not have restaurant or special event

dining reservations. Limit ten per Sea Island Club member account. Beginning December 29, New Year’s

Eve tickets will be $75/person.

How to Get Tickets • Sea Island Club members may purchase tickets in advance by going to www.seaislandmembers.com as early as November 20. Credit card required. Tickets

may also be purchased on New Year’s Eve at the locations listed below.

Redeeming Tickets

Tickets must be redeemed for wristbands at one of the following New Year’s Eve check-in locations:

Wristbands may not be picked up in advance of New

Holiday Cancellation Policy

All events and activities (including Yacht Club, Fitness, Tennis, Spa, Golf, Shooting School, Camp Cloister, and Equestrian) require a 48-hour

notice of cancellation. Failure to cancel within the noted time frame will result in a $25/person charge. Equestrian will be charged the full cost of the activity. All no-show reservations, that are not cancelled, will be charged the

full rate of the event or activity.

Bingo no-show reservations and cancellations within 48 hours will be charged $50/person.

Broadfield requires cancellations 72 hours prior to activity. Broadfield cancellations within 72 hours will be charged the

full cost of the activity.

Dining requires cancellations to be made 6 hours prior to reservation. Restaurant Dining no-show reservations or cancellations within 6 hours

will be charged $50/person. Special Holiday Dining Events with no-show reservations or cancellations within 24 hours will be charged full price.
