2018 CONTRIBUTIONS: As we prepare for year end, please be mindful that donations must be received (or postmarked if mailed) by December 31 in order to be deductible in 2018. If postmarked or received January 1, 2019, or after, the donation is deductible in 2019. To comply with federal law, we cannot accept donations in 2018 for 2019 or in 2019 for 2018.

THE PEWS AT ST. JOSEPH CHURCH will be removed to make way for the new pews on January 7. If you would like a pew for yourself, you can take it out on January 6 after Mass; this is the ONLY day you can pick up pews and you need to have your own vehicle or trailer to haul them. To set up a time to get pews on January 6, you may call Mike Rosenberg 712-330-8014, Ron Ja-cobs 712-330-4406, or Erica Shierholz 712-363-0975. You can also contact them about reserving a specific pew at any St. Joseph Mass before they are removed. There are 26 pews in the main body of the church with lengths from 12 to 20 feet. There are 3 pews in the balcony with lengths from 9 to 28 feet. The current plan is to deliver any pews not taken to a warehouse on Jan. 7.

SPENCER SACRED HEART has 2019 wall calendars available in church for you to pick up. They include our religious holidays and seasons.

PRIMGHAR ST. ANTHONY will decorate for Christmas on Sunday, December 23rd at 10:30a.m. Many hands make light work. Come join the fun!

SPENCER SACRED HEART CHRISTMAS DECORATING: Decorating the church for Christmas will continue on December 23rd at 1:00p.m. Many hands make light work.

ST. JOSEPH O’BRIEN COUNTY members can donate a memorial for Christmas flowers to be used in the churches during that season. Simply write the names of those you wish to be remembered on an envelope containing your donation and place it in the regular collection. Names will be published in the bulletin after Christmas.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES COLLECTION: The 2nd collection at each of the Christmas Masses will go to Catholic Charities.

CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER AT SPENCER SACRED HEART: The Christmas Dinner will be served from 11:30a.m.-1:00p.m. in the Parish Hall. Reservations are not necessary. Free will donation.

SPENCER SACRED HEART PARISH OFFICE will be open Wednesday, December 26 through Friday, December 28, 7:30a.m.– 3:30p.m. The office will be closed on Monday, December 24 & Monday, December 31, 2018.

NO MASS, BIBLE STUDY OR FAITH FORMATION CLASSES AT SPENCER SACRED HEART on Wednesday, December 26th .
