About the Event The Primary Wing of Delhi Public School Gandhinagar conducted a special assembly on 10 September 2018 to celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The special assembly along with the festive celebrations was also used as an occasion to provide examination tips to the students before the commencement of the half yearly exams. Objective of the Event
The special assembly was aimed to create awareness amongst the students about our glorious festivals.
To provide students an opportunity to perform various events linked to the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The Event and Participation A special assembly was conducted by the students of Std. I and II on 10 September 2018. The assembly was conducted to celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The assembly commenced with a prayer followed by dance performance by students of Std. I and II. The significance of the festival was explained through various performances of the students. This was followed by a speech from a student of Std. II who provided various examination tips to all the students for the upcoming half yearly examinations. As part of this special assembly certificates were also distributed to the students of Std. II for their outstanding performances in the slogan writing competition held on 7 September 2018.
