and to date are proud to be 100% LTI free. We have demonstrated a high level of innovation through

development of both hardware and software products and services.

Delta Automation’s experience in gas management, engineering, electrical services & control

products is enhanced by our development and manufacturing capabilities. This has allowed us to

offer our clients complete solutions; turning concepts into reality and producing a wide range of

products with a focus on four key areas: Improving communications in the underground mining

environment, improving mine safety through gas management innovation, implementing

professional methods to monitor and report on production performance and the need to have

continuous methods of improving and raising safety awareness and standards.

19 Years Experience - Key Personnel

Brian Stephen Managing Director/Senior Engineer

Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with over 30 years’ experience in the field of

control and automation including the past 19 years spent almost exclusively in the underground

mining industry

Michael Shanahan Mechatronics Engineer

Michael holds Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering and has approximately 11 years’

experience in industrial programming and process control applications support.

Sonny Alcantara Senior Electronics & Communications Engineer

Sonny holds a degree in Electronics Engineering focusing on fault finding & repair of Automation &

Control equipment including PLC components, panel views and motor drives.

Jared Wiltshire Computer Engineer

Jared holds an Honours Degree in Computer Engineering and has worked for Delta for approximately

6 years. Jared provides support for computer systems as well as product development.

Adam Panton Site Electrical Supervisor

Adam is a qualified electrician with 6 years’ experience in the underground coal mining environment

and approximately 10 years heavy industrial experience.

Jason Stephen Electrical Shift Supervisor

Jason is a qualified electrician with 8 years’ experience in the underground coal mining environment.

Jason is currently completing his electrical engineering degree.

Dave Martin Business Development Manager

Dave has over 18 years’ experience in the supply and servicing of underground coal & hardrock

industries both nationally and globally. Contract management expertise with global mining houses

including BHP Billiton, Glencore, PT Freeport & SENZ
