Demographic Transition Model

is a model that describes population change over time. The observed changes, or transitions, in birth and death rates in industrialized societies over the past two hundred years or so.

The change in a country’s Birth and Death rate as it moves from a less developed country to a more developed country.

Purchasing Power Parity (PPI)

A theory which states that the exchange rate between one currency and another is in equilibrium when their domestic purchasing powers at that rate of exchange are equivalent
