THIS ADDENDUM SHALL BECOME A PART OF THIS SOLICITATION. Amend Invitation to Bid 14-MC-ES14.059BMA as follows: PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of Contract, including Asbestos Abatement Summary of Work Sections apply to work of this Section.
B. In the event that additions, clarifications, and/or changes occur, section identified as ADDENDUM will be used. C. Documents included in this addendum one are as follows:

1.11 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
A. The following coordination is to be scheduled by the Owner:
1. N/A. B. The following additional requirements will be observed by the Contractor:
1. As identified during the pre-bid meeting, approximately 120 linear feet of lead drain-tray
disposal will be part of the base bid; the work will be completed during the science lab phase of the project.
2. Plaster quantity clarification: The ETS scope of work identifies multiple areas of plaster removal. In the Asbestos Containing Materials Abatement Matrix, the plaster statements read as follows: 30 SF of plaster in 5 areas. This statement corresponds to approximately 150 SF of plaster and/or glazed block/tile demolition, e.g. 5 areas with 30 SF per area for an approximate total of 150 SF.
3. Extensive project coordination will be required to complete this project. The GAC will be held
to the schedule per work area. Plan to attend several construction coordination meetings prior to and during the course of the project to ensure the schedule is maintained as needed.
4. The GAC will plan to provide sufficient HEPA attached negative air support to the GC during
the crawlspace work to allow for sufficient air circulation in the space during the GC’s re-piping and soldering work.
5. Trace (OSHA) plaster will be disposed of as ACM waste, proper manifests will be required as part of the project closeout documentation.
6. The GC will disconnect water, gas, and electric services to the science lab tops that are scheduled for demolition prior to the GAC starting demolition work.

7. Some fixtures are scheduled for salvage as part of this project. Prior to the GAC starting
demolition work, the GC will have the salvaged fixtures removed from the work area. Fixtures that remain in the work area may be disposed of to facilitate the abatement scope of work.
8. Dumpster: Dumpster staging will be allowed on the site. Coordination of fire lanes, facility
staff and other contractors, etc., will be required in the positioning of the dumpster. Site protection will be required; damages caused by dumpster placement will be repaired by the GAC at no cost to DPS.
9. Contractor parking: GAC can utilize the DPS parking spaces and on street parking.
10. Power & Water: GAC can utilize facility power and water, if additional power is needed the GAC must provide a licensed electrician to tie into an existing building power panel. If wall sockets are utilized for power the GAC must use ground fault circuit interrupters. Disruptions or damages caused to the power system caused by the GAC’s actions will be repaired by the GAC.
If your proposal has been submitted and you wish to amend it, please modify your proposal on company letterhead. The amended proposal must be received prior to or included at the time and date set for the proposal opening. Each modification submitted to the District's Purchasing Office located at 1617 S. Acoma St. Denver, CO 80223. It must have Vendor’s name and return address and the applicable RFP number and title of the RFP clearly marked on the face of the envelope. If more than one modification is submitted, the modification bearing the latest date of receipt by the District's Strategic Sourcing Office will be considered the valid modification. *****This addendum must be acknowledged, whether or not you amend your proposal.*****
This Addendum must be included in your submittal or proposal, providing you do not need to amend your proposal.
