Me, Myself & I

Me, Myself & I - Design Project

Throughout my Study of Interactive Interface Design, I undertook a number of projects exploring the uses of different programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash and their design capabilities.

Above is the end result of a project entitled “Me, Myself& I” in which i used Adobe Illustrator to create a likeness of myself and it into an animated setting that i felt representedaspects of my personality and interest base.

Hierarchy Through Contrast

An assignment that required the demonstration oftypographical hierarchies through placement andshading using adobe photoshop and Illustrator.

Mobile Interface DesignFor this project, I used Adobe Photoshop to create a mobile userinterface for an iphone and integrated some personal designs tocreate a design template for my own website.

This is the result of a that involved taking anexisting, poorly designed 16-page website and consolidating it into a simpler, more effectivesite programming through HTML5 and Javascript.

This is a website that i designed and created fora new alcohol and DrugRehabilitation Centre in the Limerick area.

The organisation has very little web presence but wished to keep the site itself simple and to the point, providing preliminary information for anyone wishing to avail of their services as well as links forcontact details, locations and also a donate button for their paypal account.

3D Grapgics

For 3D Graphics, I completed a number of assignments that required meto design and model a number of 3-Dimensional scenes and animationsusing AutoDesk’s 3DS Max software.

Wall Project

For this project,I modelled a scenewith a cross-section of a 3d wall and a window with a wooden frame through which the external scene could be viewed.

Pool Table Project

Here, i modelled a 3d pool table and animated the scene toshow the pool cue taking two shots andpotting a number of the balls.

This involved workingwith the graph editors to give theballs appropriateweight to their movement.

Digital Video

While Studying Digital video for Multimedia, I learned aboutDigital video filming as well as working with sound and the editing process.

As part of this course, I, along with a group of Classmates,had to come up with a concept for a Drink Aware campaign; we had to write the script, scout the locations, design the costumes, film and edit the whole thing and present ourfinished product.
