A simple guide for what Codesports needs when it comes to Art...There are two ways of creatig logos and artwork: VECTOR

VECTOR

RASTER

RASTER

or

Vector Artwork is designed by uniting the points created on a X-Y coordinates. Most designers

create logos and other types of art in vector for only one main reason: THE VECTOR ARTWORK

CAN BE RESIZED WITHOUT PIXELATING. Note example on the right.

Raster Artwork is created by a grid of very little pixels where each one of them fills up with a

color next to the other one to form the artwork desired by creator. The inconvenience with the

raster artwork is that the pixels do not maintain an equal percentage of sizing, therefore, when

its size is maximized, they become blury. Note example on the right.

SAFE AREAS FOR YOUR ARTThere are some areas in which your designs might be compromised during the production

process, therefore, on our templates we show you on a red-dotted line where the SAFE area

begins.

Please take this into consideration when placing logos or texts that you want on your jersey.

VECTORS, AND WE WILL LOVE YOU MORE!Artwork created in programs like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Freehand (.AI or .eps)Designers: Please make sure that all yout texts are converted to paths. If you are using logos from any sponsor or company, please request the artwork of those logos in a

vector format (.AI or .eps)

Note: If you have a PDF, its not possible to say if it is vector or raster, please send it to [email protected]. We will verify it for you.

IMAGE FILES SUCH AS: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIFThese files are, most of the time Low-Resolution images that are not suitable for making changes on. We will not be able to change

colors, modify their size without losing clarity on the image or take elements away from them.

In ocations, Codesports Design Team will be able to work with Photoshop, PNG or TIFF. The only condition for

those files to be elegible to work with is that they must be previously saved at their 100% size and with a 150

ppi (Pixel Per Inch) resolution -at least-

Please make sure that the backgroudn in those files is transparent so that our design team is able to work

with them.

These files, although with good printing resolution can not be made changes to such as colors, or take elements

away from them.

to the re-creation of the logos or artork by Codesports Design Team. The quote will be provided before any

Color Selection for your ApparelTo be able to have point of reference for your color selection, Codesports advices the use of Pantone Mat-

ching System. It is important to keep in mind that the colors tha you see on your screen will not look the same

once printed. Therefore, Codesports suggests that a Pantone Coated Color Swatch Book is used for this

selection process. It is also important to consider that sublimated colors tend to show slight variations

depending on the fabric they are sublimated on.

If your choice is neon color sublimation, note that the color red and its derivations will turn orangy as sublima-

ted.
