Donaldson P559000 and P553000 lube fi lters are made using Synteq high-performance synthetic media, whereas the stacked disk portion of Fleetguard fi lters is made from ordinary cellulose media.
The controlled processing of Synteq media technology allows Donaldson P553000 and P559000 fi lters to deliver both, higher dirt holding capacity at the same pressure differential, and higher effi ciency compared to conventional cellulose fi lters. Synteq media also has better durability with age.

Synteq media has fi ne, consistent fi bres that trap smaller particles and hold more contaminants, resulting in lower restriction.
Cellulose fi bres are inconsistent in size and shape, allowing more contaminants to pass through; resulting in higher restriction and lower capacity.

The ISO 4548/12 multi-pass test is a widely accepted industry standard test used by OEMs for the purpose of evaluating and comparing the effi ciency and capacity of liquid fi ltration products.
Test results are an average from the testing of three product samples in accordance with ISO 4548/12 specifi cations. The ISO 4548/12 specifi es ISO 12103 test dust. Test data reported at 25 psid terminal restriction point.
