Devinison

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease that lately more and more common. Diabetes mellitus is also often we refer to as diabetes or blood sugar disease

This disease is one of chronic diseases including type that marks the beginning of increased sugar levels in the blood as a result of a disturbance in the body's metabolic system. The body's organs is the pancreas which is not working properly. The pancreas is unable to produce the hormone insulin to meet

Insulin is a hormone produced by the type of polypeptide pancreas gland.

The main function of insulin is to maintain the balance of glucose in the blood and act increases glucose uptake by body cells. The body's failure to produce insulin, or an inadequate amount of insulin will cause the glucose can not get into the body and used by the cells in the body (not absorbed by the cells in the body).

Thus the increase in the blood glucose led to the introduction of diabetes is also known as Diabetes Mellitus.

Etiologi

1) Many Consuming Food Containing Sugar

2) Lack of sleep

Lack of sleep can cause a reduction in the immune system so the body susceptible to disease.

3) Eating too many carbohydrates from rice or bread

You need to know that the body has a limited ability to process the food you eat. If you eat too many carbohydrates, the body will store it in the form of blood sugar (glycogen). If this goes on every day, then it is conceivable that the magnitude of the buildup of glycogen stored in the body

4) Smoking

Smoking is one habit that is not good but to drink alcoholic beverages. Smoking can trigger the onset of diabetes.

In addition to damaging the lungs, smoking also can damage the liver and pancreas where insulin is produced so that it can interfere with the production of insulin in the pancreas gland.

5) Lack of Physical Activity

Lifestyle in a car when leaving for work, take the elevator when you are at the office, sitting too long in front of the computer and lack of physical activity makes the body's secretion system is running slow.

The result was a buildup of fat in the body which can lead to excess weight.

6) Factors Descendants

Diabetes can also be caused due to heredity or genetics. Usually if there are family members who have diabetes, it is likely that children also suffer from the same disease. Diabetes experts have agreed to determine the percentage likelihood of diabetes due to heredity.

If both parents (father and mother) had diabetes, then the chances of children suffering from diabetes is 83%. If either of your parents (father or mother) is a diabetic, the chances of children suffering from diabetes is 53%. Whereas if both parents normal / not suffering from diabetes, then the chances of children suffering from diabetes is 15%.

Sign and Symptoms

• Frequent urination (polyuria)

• Often feel hungry (polyphagia)

• Frequent thirst (polydipsia)

• Weight loss

• Blurred vision often experience tingling in fingers and toes

• Body feels weak, drowsiness and lack moraleitching all over its body

• If the injured is difficult to recover , decreased sex drive,

• Impotence, and in women in the sex organs appear whitish
