EFFECTIVE ENGAGEMENT A PARTNERSHIP MODEL?
Diabetes, Obesity, and Pain – Case Study
Some insights from our research:
• You can incentivize people to try an engagement program, but you cannot incentivize them stay in it
• Engagement programs have to be engaging and practical
This case study involves a Plan, a related Provider group, and a supermarket chain.
It links together all three around the patient and creates engagement both in the doctor’s office and also where the patient makes food buying decisions.
Base the activity and
places where people go to buy food, not where they
go to get medical
treatment
