New
The new Speed-oligo® product line adapts its presentation to enlarge its diagnostic possibilities, simplifies test procedure and allows for automation.
Speed-oligo® allows for visual and direct analysis, through a simple technique which provides results in just a few minutes. This PCR-based method coupled to a dipstick device enables a rapid, highly sensitive and specific detection.
The Speed-oligo® cassette contains lyophilized PCR mix and a disposable cassette including test strip. The user just needs to resuspend the prepared PCR mix and add the clinical sample.
The new design is a closed, self-contained cassette allowing for a contamination-free protocol.

Speed-oligo® Workstation is a compact and walk-away platform that carries out the entire post-amplification process
This new platform automates the detection, reading and interpretation of results based on Speed-oligo®, the oligochromatografic technique developed by Vircell.The new system can process up to 16 samples in each run obtaining results in 20 minutes after DNA amplification.

After the amplification of the samples, vials and cassettes are loaded for the individual identification of samples by means of the touch screen.
Located in the robotic arm, the ultraviolet lamp ensures the routine maintenance of the platform and allows for additional cleaning in case of any incident.
PCR vials are exposed to a temperature that separates double stranded amplified nucleic acid.
In this area the cassettes will be preheated. Then the closed tubes containing the denatured PCR product will be introduced in the cassettes releasing the amplified product that will get in contact with the strips.
Speed-oligo® Workstation makes an initial scanning of the cassettes for the identification of the test loaded.At the end of the process the system scans the cassettes for the reading and interpretation of the results.
The access to the system is very simple and intuitive by means of a touch screen.At the beginning of the detection process, the user identifies samples and after the procedure is concluded, results will be available as individual reports.
