LUMINDORF13 lessons that were created from the “Harry Potter Series of Books.” The books talk about
magic, potions, spells and good and evil. A closer look reveals wonderfully imaginative stories that point us to a higher use of our own powers. As in all good spiritual stories (The Bible, The Odyssey, The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, etc.) Harry Potter leads us through his unusual and sometimes difficult spiritual journey. We find his story is both unique and universal, and, amazingly, it is our story as well. We are going to use some of the events in Harry’s life to come to a greater understanding of our own spiritual gifts and powers. The events in Harry’s life are metaphysically interpreted.

A Unity based curriculum for children ages 3 to 13. It is a wonderful way to celebrate the season by focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. I have altered the focus of the 4 Sundays slightly from the more traditional interpretation because I felt this interpretation followed the Christmas story more closely. Something wondrous is being reborn in each one of us at each moment in time. Advent represents our inward preparation for the rebirth of the Christ in our heart.

Four week Bible based curriculum based on exploring how we can find God within everything, every-body and within every experience. This curriculum uses a rotation format which has the children rotating through a variety of experiences for the hour.
The teachers also have a chance to experience something new. Instead of staying with one class for the whole hour and experiencing all of the activities, the teachers are invited to choose one Rotation activity, for example: “Storyteller,” and share that experience with each of the groups that rotate through.
