MIXING
1992A new kind of mixing propeller developped through a close cooperation with the CNRS - ENSIGC chemical engineering
laboratory in Toulouse
HTPG4Thus, simple vessels have become process vessels, equipped
with efficients tools for agitation mixing and heat transfer.
29
MIXING
TARGETSMixing control, main element of your process
Materialize our experience in liquid or pasty productprocessing,
Benefit from our work force’s know how : engineering services, stainless steel flue-shops and machine shops,
Optimize your mixing by means of a profile providing an efficient flow pumping, a minimum shearing respectingfragile products and the whole with a low power output.
30
MIXING
MEANSMeasurement of the flow speeds by means of a Laser Doppler anemometer,Measurement of the mixing times by colouration-discolourationof a transparent tank,Measurement of the power consumption through a torque meter,Pilot equipment : 2 transparent tanks of 50 and 200 L.
31
MIXING
RESULTS
Birth of the HTPG4 shape, innovation acknowledged by patent.
It matches your requirements.
33
MIXING
RESULTS
The HTPG 4 propeller is the fruit of the optimisation of different parameters. It ensures :
a maximum discharge efficiency thanks toits oriented flow pattern avoiding centrifugallosses,a low power consumption,a minimum shearing respecting fragileproducts.
It is made in stainless steel and is cleanable inplace (removable blades in option). Its exclusive shape is patented.
34
MIXING
PERFORMANCES
The HTPG 4 design induces a sizeable axial flow and avoidsradial leaks. Two upward and downward flows are thusgenerated. The seperation between bothflows is generally lesspronounced with traditionalpropellers. Such hydrodynamics is the keyto the good performances of theHTPG 4 propeller.

37
SINCE 1993, YEAR OF INTEGRATION OF THE MORITZ PRODUCTS, PIERRE GUERIN IS EVEN MORE INVOLVED IN MIXING TECHNOLOGIES
39
Air Vent is the safety device of a tank
It protects from internal pressure and vacuum damage
Cleaning solution
1. During filling/emptying of the tank
2. Cleaning with hot and cold solutions
40
Air Vent is the safety device of a tank
The design of such device requires sophisticated calculation
WHAT ARE THE PARAMETERS ?• Air Vent (open area & pressure drop) • Temperatures of cleaning solution• Flow rate of cleaning solutions• Spray cleaning device• Tank sizes
PIERRE GUERIN has developed a unique softwareto dimension Air Vents
