Portrait Photography - Steve McCurry Portrait Photography is photography of a person or a group of people that displays the expression, personality, and mood of the subject. The focus of Portrait Photography is normally the persons face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included. What makes a portrait photograph is that the photo is focused on one subject; normally an individual. The type of shot is normally a close up shot, and it is completely focused on the individual’s face. This is to show the detail of their face, also the show the expression of a person’s face. Landscape Photography is where spaces are shown within the world and is sometimes vast and never-ending, but other times, it’s microscopic. They typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or the disturbances of landscapes.What makes a Landscape Photograph is that there is open space such as landscapes, and cityscapes. Also, it is taken in a way where it looks appealing; where it catches eye of the viewer instantly.An example of a Landscape Photographer is Andrew Prokos. He takes a lot of pictures on landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, parks and gardens. He has taken in various locations such as Washington DC and New York for cityscapes, Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon for Landscapes, and has taken different photos from vies such as panoramic views.

War Photography is photography that involves armed conflict and the effects that it has on people and places. War photos can be both Portrait and Landscape Photographs. Portrait war photos normally show close-ups of soldiers to show their facial expression. The facial expressions of soldiers during the war are serious facial expressions, which explain normally negative emotions such as fear and sadness.An example of a war Photographer is Robert Capa. Robert Capa is a famous war photographer known for the photograph of the soldiers putting up a flag during the war. He has taken multiple photos during the war and after the war.
