GeoLink Optimized Raster files (.gor) Quick display refresh…using pyramid layers Only viewable in GeoLink …so you need to keep the other files around to use
in ArcGIS or ArcView.

Performance considerations… Too many background maps and system will bog
down… How much is too much? Things that seem to help…
Fewer large map tiles instead of many smaller ones.. “Burning” of vector data (roads, contours) into imagery
If software begins to act flaky, remove some maps from the map list…
