Digitisation of industry –Industry 4.0 - based on IoT and Big Data will be a game changer for Luxembourg companies allowing reduction of time from order to manufacture from weeks to a day.

Big data coupled with IoT, Blockchain, AI and automation will reshape logistics processes along the entire value chain. Luxembourg now aspires to be a next generation Logistics 4.0 hub.

A tight coupling between Space and the digital economy will open up new space data enabled applications and services. Luxembourg will provide a privileged access to data through its Copernicus ground segment agreement

Fintech is globally the fastest adopter of new digital and data technologies. AI and Big Data solutions are already operational.

Luxembourg is ranked 6th overall in the European Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) 2019.

DESI covers five digital dimensions:
