Our manufacturing facility allows us to carefully monitor quality and implement green processes. We are particularly proud of our Tree Planting Program. For every tree used building furniture, Dimond Home plants a replacement tree. Since the program began, we have planted tens of thousands of trees. The program motto is “One tree down is one tree planted”.

CASTING & WELDINGCasting and welding are age old techniques imbued with a soulful quality through which

liquid metal is made into a solid form using a detailed mold or fabricated together by the

hands of a skilled craftsman. Casting, welding and polishing turn rough, dull metals into

shimmering sculptures. They are the processes by which craft is turned into art.

Our professional handcrafting techniques give us the possibility of constantly creating unique and high quality products. We off er lamps, furniture and home accessories created with the fi nest metals and processes, all prepared to give a modern and fresh environment to your surroundings. We off er an extensive variety of metal fi nishes and products that include various manufacturing processes that include castings, painted fi nishes, gold leaf, and electroplating. ORGANIC CUTOUTS SIDE TABLE

Modern sleek and old school masonry converged. Like an ancient rustic wall, irregular openwork cutouts act as loose fi eld stones bound together by polished aluminum mortar. The result is a graceful curved cylinder with a sparkling beveled glass top.

It is a creative medium, tactile, tangible and enduring. In the early creative stages of each design the creative team can play with form, distorting shapes and surfaces, transparency and opacity, tension and harmony. Reinventing ways to apply traditional techniques allows for an enduring freshness.

GLASS BLOWINGGlassblowing is a glass forming technique through which a gathering of molten glass can endure into a thing of beauty. Free blowing allows the craftsman to be more spontaneous in creating the finished piece as the fluidity of the liquid cools and takes on a sculptural quality. Molds are also used to create pieces that have more uniformity and rigidity and where we want to play more with the optical effects of glass and light.

GREY SMOKED GLASS LAMP

A gathering of molten glass is blown into a clean transitional form and fi nished in a gray smoke fi nish. The piece is topped with a textured linen shade.

OMBRE FLARED BOTTLE

This emerald ombre bottle is mouth blown by a skilled craftsman using traditional techniques. The ombre fi nish is hand applied after the glass has cooled and then delicate silver leaf is added to the inside to give added depth and interest to the fi nish.

GLAZINGGlazing renders earthenware vessels suitable for holding liquids, sealing the inherent porosity of terracotta. Glaze is also used on stoneware and porcelain. In addition to their functional aspect, glazes can form a variety of surface fi nishes including degrees of glossy or matte fi nish and color. Glazes may also enhance the underlying design or texture either unmodifi ed or inscribed, carved or painted.

Dimond Home uses a variety of materials to create bodies for our accessories and lamps. Organic and inorganic resources are mixed to create clays with diff erent attributes. Raw material milling and mixing are an important process in the production of our ceramics. We rely on the expertise of our factories to determine the base material properties that will ensure quality and stability of the fi nished products. The manufacturing process may include pressing, extrusion, casting and hand formed items from diff erent types of clay. Complex, three dimensionally shaped products can be created in all of these techniques. These materials are shaped and cut to precise requirements to meet our quality control standards.

From driftwood, mulberry sticks, natural coco twigs and papaya bark to beach pebbles, sea shells, palm petals and banana tree stems, the discerning eyes of the Dimond Home design team travel the world in search of resources to complement our original product concepts. This quest is the core of our modern, eco-friendly, interior decorating style. Our design team explores the international market place for resources that will add interest and refl ect this attitude.

DRIFTWOODDriftwood is wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea, lake, or river by the action of winds, tides or waves. It is a form of marine debris or tide-wrack. We use this material to create astonishing works of art and furniture. In fact, fi nding the right material is tantamount to the fi nished piece and akin to a big treasure hunt for the artist.

This coco garland was taken from a coconut tree and gently treated and brushed with white antique fi nish.

TEAKTeak timber is particularly valued for its durability and water resistance, and is used for exterior construction, veneer, furniture, carving, and turnings. Teak’s durability stems from natural oils that make it an ideal material in exposed locations as well as termite and pest resistant. This high oil content, along with high tensile strength and tight grain makes it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture and wet environment applications. Teak is even durable even when not treated with oil or varnish.

MAHOGANYMahogany is a kind of wood prized for its beauty and dark color. It has a straight, fi ne, even grain that is relatively free of voids and pockets making it ideal for fi ne furniture. Additionally, Mahogany is known for its excellent workability and exceptional durability.

Wood is one of the most commonly used materials in Dimond Home for making furniture pieces because of its rich appearance and durability. Our approach to furniture design is inspired by the clean lines and details, graceful proportions, quality craftsmanship and focus on function that is the foundation of our furniture designs. We believe that the natural beauty of the wood is all the ornamentation a piece of furniture needs. This approach to furniture design results in simple, graceful, well constructed furniture that fulfi lls its function.
