• This unique and consistent endeavor has been patronized & recognized by Directorateof Technical Education & Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education andInstitutions in a rarely found spirit of cooperation.

OBJECTIVES
• Creating an understanding /awareness about commercial application of the technology (manufacturing and quality aspect, techno‐commercial feasibility)
• To fuel growth of technology sector by encouraging young technocrats to indigenously develop innovative, qualitative, competitive & cost effective solutions.

• Act as a platform for much needed ‘Institution – Industry Interaction’ on practical level.
• Encourage participation of women in Technical sector.
• Emphasize on Intellectual property Rights to encourage knowledge sovereignty of India.

• 1986 : ‘DIPEX’ started as event for Diploma engineering students comprising of 4 section which has now grown to 14 sections.• 1988 : launched ‘SHODH’ a special category for recognition of innovative talent.• 1990 : Bagged recognition as a Maharashtra state level event.• 1996 : Competition opened to Engineering & PG Students.• 1996 : Special focus on IT Software & Non Conventional Energy resources

Competition exclusively for “Working Models” for ALL engineering disciplines ‐Mechanical, Production, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computers, IT, Chemical & all others. (Working software included).Its 24th event in this series & ever first time in Mumbai, the financial capital of the nation. It is scheduled on 10th to 14th March 2012 at Somaiya Ground, Sion.A 5 day mega event showcasing approximately 250 Projects, with 1200 participants &30000 – 35000 Visitors including students, academicians, Industry persons across the Maharashtra.Different Seminars on upcoming industry trends.
