Wonder of Wonders
I once read: A miracle is a shift in perception. Bearing wit-ness to any natural wonder or experience of a natural phe-nomenon is nothing less than miraculous. It's as if the uni-
verse reminds us that we are connected to something much bigger - asking us the question: What is your role in all of this? How would you like to make your mark on this Earth? And how would you like to spend the remainder of your life in this beautiful, quirky, wonderfully phenomenal
world of ours?
If you have ever witnessed the Aurora Borealis in all its splendor - it seems miraculous. Protons and electrons from
the solar wind, hitting the particles in the Earth's atmos-phere and releasing energy. To be in its presence is life-altering - making you feel connected and in contact with
something so much bigger.
John Cariani's Almost, Maine is a play about just that. Nine vignettes, taking place simultaneously, on a Friday night in January, in the town of Almost. While dealing with various issues in their relationships, nineteen characters are sud-
denly enchanted in the presence of this larger-than-life phenomenon - causing each character to investigate their lives and relationships and making life-altering decisions in
their world.
We have had a wonderful time working on this production. We hope it brings you as much delight as it did each of us.
Welcome to the town of Almost, Maine!

school and once as a genuine senior. Kris has also played both female roles in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in productions 20 years apart. Instrumental in establishing our Senior Class Readers’ Theatre, Kris has directed a number of productions for that program, including Morning’s At Seven, A Trip To Bountiful, and Harvey.
