WELCOME ADDRESS AND ANNUAL REPORT

Good morning to ladies and gentlemen,

I’m, extremely happy to extend a very warm welcome to our beloved chairman Mr.V.Ayyappan, who devotes much of his time in uplifting the living standards of the people in this area in particular downtrodden community by means of providing quality education in this backward area.

I’m delighted to welcome our young and energetic treasurer of the trust Mr.P.Ramasubramanian on this happy occasion.

I feel happy to welcome all the trustees who extend their fullest cooperation in running these institutions successfully.

Today we are fortunate enough to have in our mist Dr.S.Kalyamoorthy, Convener, Vice-Chancellor officiating committee, Alagappa University to deliver graduation day address. he is a doyen in the field of management education .he is well known through out India .he has been awarded the best teacher award .under his dynamic leadership Alagappa institute of management has been awarded the best management institute by Hindustan Unilever Ltd.He is a gold medalist in his B.L programme his students are occupying coveated positions in MultiNational Companies.he is a very good academician and also a good administrator.it is appropriate that such a personlatity is going to deliver first graduation address of this upcoming institutions.Im very happyto whole heartedly welcome our chief guest Dr.S.Kalyamoorthy.

Today this program is organized for the students who have been graduated in this institute and they are going to be awarded the MBA degrees of Anna University, Chennai. They have come over here with happiness to receive their degrees. I’m very happy to welcome all my students.

I feel proud to extend a very warm welcome to all the parents and their family members who have come over here.

The success of any institution mainly depends upon faculty members. It is their efforts which made it possible to achieve the goal. I welcome All the Hods, all the teaching staff and all the non-teaching staff.

STUDENTS

M.Saranya of MBA secured the 33rd university rank in the MBA degree examination held

in June 2013 among 8599 candidates graduated from Anna University Chennai.

A.Pandiselvi of MBA secured the 48th university rank in the MBA degree examination

held in June 2013 among 8599 candidates graduated from Anna University Chennai.

Cent percent placement achieved for the first batch of MBA during the year 2013.

All the Final year students who have passed in June 2013 have secured first class in the

university examination.

A.Pandiselvi who had undertaken a project work at Leather Craft India, Chennai had

impressed the authorities during the project period, such a performance made the

company to change its policy of not appointing any trainee and she was appointed in the

department of HR of that Multinational Company.

As a Social responsibility the institute has organized seminars for three thousand

students in this area on “Career Guidance”, besides the institute has given training to the

poor students of this area as to “How to face competitive examination”,viz; IBPS.etc

Mr. AL.Alagappan, Associate Professor, Karaikudi Institute of Management, member

has submitted a paper in the international conference at NPR College Natham, which was

accepted and appreciated not only by the participants but also the chairperson of the

technical session of the seminar.

PROJECT WORK:

Summer project and final project are undertaken by the students under the able guidance
