Lake Park’s Monthly Digest September 2018 Edition Director’s Letter by Elisha R. Wilson, Executive Director - September 2018 Dear Lake Park Family and Friends, This past Summer, we enjoyed so many fun activities, field trips, experiments, and experiences! We've gone to the movies, the park, the Aviation Museum, and the Discovery Place. We enjoyed our Taekwondo experience, Amazing Athletes, splash pads, the BB&T Ballpark, Ice Cream Fridays, and so much more! We wrapped up our ex-S.T.R.E.A.M. summer camp experience with a back-to-school bash with water fun, a BBQ, and school supplies to help our friends have a successful school year! Please accept our deepest and sincerest apologies for not sharing the memories as much as we should have; and for a brief recap, please look below. Also happening this past Summer, I am honored to say, that I became the new Executive Director for our Lake Park, Matthews, and Waxhaw locations! I am excited to be in this position and have great plans of excellence for our schools! We also added a new member to our Management Team! Please welcome Mrs. Paulette McKee as our new Assistant Director! Mrs. McKee has been with us since April of this year. During her short tenure, not only was Mrs. McKee an exceptional teacher in our PK classroom, she has been even more amazing as an administrator. For that, we thank her! As the new school year begins, we will resume our C.A.R.E.S. curriculum and will be holding our annual Open House/"Meet Your New Teacher" event (TBD). Please refer to our calendar for other important dates and special activities. Finally, some important reminders. Tuition is billed on Mondays and must be paid by Tuesdays, at the latest. On Wednesdays, those who have yet to pay their tuition balances will have late fees assessed to their accounts. We understand that, in the past, you may have made arrangements with previous administrators, however and according to our Tuition Contract, payment arrangements can and will change after a two weeks notice has expired. Please stay tuned for those upcoming changes. Also, as the weather begins to transition to Fall, please make sure that your child is prepared with weather-appropriate clothing. We thank each and every one of your for your continued trust in us to care for and educate your children on a daily basis. We sincerely appreciate you and hope that our school-agers have a great 2018-2019 school year! Kindest Regards, Elisha R. Dear Lake Park Family and Friends,

This past Summer, we enjoyed so many fun activities, field trips, experiments, and experiences!
