Discover the Seasons – Week 08

This week block 25 thru 29. Another Discover-Block is included. This time it is designed by Carla. It

is a heart. The symbol of love. Love for all the nice things in the nature, every seasons has its own

thing for me. The fresh colors in the spring. In the summer it is the beach and the dunes for me. The

beautiful colors of the leaves in the autumn. In the winter I dream of a nice snow landscape with a

beautiful blue sky above it.

Block 25 20x20 Color A Designer: Muis inspired by Kim Guzman

This block comes on block 16, 24 and next to block 19. Attach on the right uppercorner of block 24.

Explanation Smalll Cable In the returnpass you crochet chain, 3 stitches together, chain. On the chains we make the cross-

stitch. You DO NOT crochet the cluster. In returnpass you mak a chain in between the crossed

stitches. In the next row you make a TKS on the chain.

crochet the foundation row

Row 2 forward pass

1 TPS, 3 TKS, *2 TPS, 3 TKS*, repaet * * 2 times, 1 tps

normal return pass

repeat the forwad pass from row 2

step 1 pull through 2 loops

step 2 pull through 1 loop

step 2 skip chain and cluster

step 3 TSS on second chain

step 4 Tss on skipped chain

Row 5 thru 20

When you make the row with TKS on the crossed stitches, the middle TKS will come on the chain of

the return pass.

Block 26 20x20 Color A

This block is made on block 17. Count 10 stitches from the right topcorner of block 17. Attach your

yarn in the 11th stitch.

ATTENTION! USE A LARGER HOOK!!!!!

My standard size is 6.0mm but I used a 6.5mm

Used Stitches TTSS Tunisian Twisted Simple Stitch

explanation TTSS Ofcourse you start with a foundation row

insert your hook from LEFT to RIGHT underneath the next stitch, make a turn with your hook so

you can pick up your yarn as normal. Yarn over and pull through. Do this for every stitch on the hook.

The complete block is done in this stitch. It looks lke the wafle-stitch of normal crochet it only is a bit

smaller.

Block 27 10x10 Color C

This block is made on block 17 next to block 26. Attach on the right topcorner of block 17.

Block 28 10x10 Color D

This block is made on block 27 next to block 26. Attach on the right topcorner of block 27.
