DISCOVER U

Creating a Personal Brand Identity

The last time you selected an MP3 player, how much did Apple’s brand

play into the decision? Or what about the last car you purchased, or

hotel you selected for a business trip or vacation? In a world of parody,

massive competition, and information overload, a company’s brand—

and your personal brand—is more important than ever.

Why brand yourself?with a strong brand identity, people will remember you just as they remember the iPod,

a beloved automobile or a 4-star hotel. The brand identity of you and your business is one

and the same. Does it need energizing?

People like Donald Trump, Michael Jordan and oprah are living proof of personal brand

equity and have mastered the art better than most. even if you can’t dunk a basketball or

shout “your’re Fired,” you have unique and compelling talents to offer the world and use

to your advantage. you may simply need to understand and showcase your brand image to

others more effectively.

The Value of Discover UFor years, High Dive has provided companies with tools they need to succeed, by building memorable brands and creating

targeted marketing plans to drive revenue generation. Most recently, our Brand “Discovery” workshop was refined for

an executive speakers’ engagement at the University of Idaho. well-received by students, we have decided to expand the

workshop for individuals interested in building a compelling identity.

High Dive’s Discover U is a half day workshop which integrates research techniques and branding strategies to help you

create a personal brand identity. By incorporating the same methodologies we have used in building and managing multi-

million dollar brand identities at the corporate level, you will:

Identify your ideal client

Create a targeted prospect list

Create memorable, emotional messages to

describe yourself

Create your personal elevator pitch

Develop a personal positioning statement

Develop a brand building plan, targeted to an audience

that is ready to hear your message
