What is Distributism?

Distributism implies that the means of production, and places to do it should beshared as as widely as possible through the

general populace.● This is in contrast to Capitalism where

production is owned by a few richsters andSocialism where production is owned by the

state.● This documentary intentionally broadens the

focus to include multiple faiths, peoples and

times to give a broader perspective of Distributive st le economics at work.

History of the Demise

● Feudalism had nobels take ownership of theland, and the people or “serfs” had to work for them.

Industrialization promised to “free” the serfs,by putting them to work in crowded urbancenters.
