Dealer Digger/DMC/DD/PC DD
Following application will be used by you to create retailers, transfer balance to FOS and retailers,
change terminal number of retailers, block or unblock retailers, reset retailers passwords’, etc.
System Requirement
1. Computer capable of running Windows XP with service pack 2, a minimum ram of 256mb (so he can run his computer smoothly).
2. Internet connection, preferably a broadband connection, if broadband facility isn’t available in his area he can also choose to run on dialup or a data card but internet is a must.
Procedure to install
Step 1
Download DotNet FX version 1.1 from the link given below and save in a common folder on desktop

STEP BY STEP PROCESS
for
PC DEALER-DIGGER INSTALLATION
Installation
1. Double click on DotNet Framework 1.1 & install it. 2. Double click on DotNet Framework 2.0 & install it 3. Double click eprsdd.msi 4. A popup will appear, Press "Run", and wait for the download to finish.
1. Follow the following screen shot.
1. Click "Next" 2. Choose the Installation location and Click "Next"
3. Click "Next" 4. Wait for the installation to finish, and click "Close"

3. Access the application from "Start menu" "Programs" "EPRS" "Dealer Digger
Establishing Trust Relationship with EPRS’ server
When you first start the program, you will get a warning

This warning means that our server is sending you a certificate that your computer doesn’t
recognize.
In order to establish a trust relationship between your computer and EPRS’ server
1. Start the Dealer Digger application 2. When you will receive the above warning click OK 3. The program will then open an Internet Explorer browser. 4. Unless you have deactivated ActiveX controls, or are using Windows 98 you will receive a
few popup screens asking you various questions. 5. Answer “Yes”, and follow the instructions to accept the certificate. 6. Run the Dealer Digger application again
If you did not get a series of popup screens
1. In the Internet Explorer window, click on Manual Certificate Installation. This will bring you a copy of the certificate.
2. Click on Open 3. You now see a certificate, issued to “SquareSec” 4. Click on Install Certificate. 5. Click on Next 6. Click on Next 7. Click on Finish (i.e. accept the defaults.) 8. It will now give you a security warning. Click on Yes. 9. On the window saying the import was successful , click on OK 10. Now click on OK to close the small certificate window. 11. Run the Dealer Digger application again

1. Fill in your Leading terminal's number and password.

Dealer Digger Functions
FOS List
The FOS List, at the left side of the main screen, shows all the FOS that you can control and monitor.
For every FOS you can see the FOS name and the FOS‘s current balance and his total Terminal
Balance.

Terminal List The Terminal List, at the left side of the main screen, shows all the terminals that you can control and
monitor. For every terminal you can see the terminal number, the terminal's owner name and the
terminal’s current balance.
The terminals are also marked with the following codes.
1. When the terminal's line is marked green, it means that this terminal is the active terminal and you can see additional information about it, in the "Merchant operations (4)" section.
2. When the terminal’s number is shown in red, it means that this terminal is blocked.
Terminal List filter and refresh
In order to find a specific merchant, you can use the filter tool. This tool lets you filter the "Terminal List (1)" by terminal number or by the owner name. In order to filter the list
1. Select the filter method. Choose "By Terminal" to filter by the terminal's number, or choose "By Name" to filter by the terminal owner’s name.
2. Start writing the name or number that you want to filter by. The list of terminals will narrow to your selection.

3. If, at any time, you wish to refresh the data shown in the list. with the latest data from the database,
press the "Refresh" button. Changes to data made by EPRS office will not show on your list until you reftresh it.
Terminal details
In order to see the active terminal's merchant details press the "Details" button.
The data that is shown is
Terminal's number.
Owner – first and last name.
Financial o Balance – The amount presently listed in the terminal’s account.

Locked out of system Is the terminal locked for some reason? o Locked out? – by office or by Dealer-Digger, o 3 Times? – locked because of wrong password. o Comments
Control In order to control the active terminal's parameters press the "Control" button.
Add amount to the merchants balance
1. Write the amount in the "Amount to Add" field (can be negative). 2. Write comments, if you like, in the "Comments" field. 3. Press the "Save" button.
Lock/Unlock a terminal

1. Set the "Lock out of system" checkbox to the desired state. 2. Write comments, if you like, in the "Comments" field. 3. Press the "Save" button.
Free a 3 times lock
1. Check the "Free the 3 times lockout" checkbox. 2. Press the "Save" button.
Dealer-Digger details
This section allows you to see your details.
Name – The Dealer digger's name on EPRS' system.
Terminals – Number of terminals owned by the DD.
Balance – Total balance of the DD.
Credit – Total amount of credit given to the DD by EPRS' office.
Price list – Price list and discounts of the DD.
Procedure to change retailer’s terminal (mobile) number
Click on “Merchant" > "Edit"
Change the merchant details in the "terminal details" section.
Replace his new terminal number with the old one.
After entering the new terminal number press the "Save" button.

Web Application Through this application you can buy and recharge end user’s accounts, Block/Unblock a Retailer and also transfer balance.
Important Points to Remember:
1) Register the application in Mozilla Firefox; as it is a faster and more secure browser.

3) Keep your password safe and an easy to remember password. If you forget your password, click on
the “Forgot Password” link under the username and password field.

Registration
1> Open your browser and type in the following address in the address bar https://m.eprs.co.in/eprs/ and click on Enter.
2> The following page will be displayed.
1) Enter the 10 digit terminal number without any prefix. 2) Enter your EPRS password. 3) Enter your Email address.* 4) Click on the Register button as shown in the below image

*Enter a valid email address as your confirmation link is sent to your email.
3> The next page will ask you to sign into your email address you provided, as the confirmation link is sent to that address.
4> You need to click on the link provided in your email.

To use any EPRS application you have to:
1. Get your mobile number registered in EPRS through EPRS India Office.
2. Once registered your mobile number becomes your EPRS Terminal number.

1) Select the type of Voucher you want to purchase. 2) Type in the voucher quantity you wish to purchase. 3) Type in the end customer’s mobile number. 4) Click on Recharge button.

Balance Transfer and Block/Unblocking a Retailer You can Transfer Balance and Block/Unblock a Retailer in 3 different ways
1) Dealer Digger 2) SMS Process 3) Web Application Dealer Digger
You can transfer balance directly into a Retailer’s account using the Control button in Dealer Digger after
selecting the Terminal number and clicking on “Save” as shown in the below image.
Block or Unblock a Terminal You can block or unblock a Terminal using the Control button in Dealer Digger and can also add a
comment for action taken.

Procedure to Transfer Balance and Block/Unblock a Retailer
Web Application
Pass balance into FOS and Retailers account.
You can transfer balance into FOS and Retailer’s account via the web application, by entering the
required details
1. Terminal Number balance needs to be added into. 2. Balance amount to be transferred. 3. Select Dealer. (Default EPRS) 4. Click on “Transfer Funds”.

Block or Unblock a Terminal You can block or unblock a Terminal also from the web application. Select the correct Block/Unblock and
enter the Terminal number, the default Dealer is EPRS and click on “Continue”.

Functions of the Web Application
A. Purchase History.
Any Top ups or Vouchers bought via the Web Application their details can be checked in the Purchase
History section
1> To view already purchased vouchers, click as shown in the screen shot below.
1) Click on the Purchase History link.

1) Please note that only your first 10 transactions are displayed by default.
2) To view the next 10 transactions, click on Next.
3) To view the last transactions, click on Last.
4) To view the first 10 transactions, click on First.
5) To view the previous 10 transactions. Click on Previous.
B. Change Password. 1> Login into your account.

1) Click on My Account Link.
3> The following page will be displayed.
1) Enter your current Web Password. 2) Enter the new password you want to set for EPRS Web application. 3) Re-enter the new password you entered 4) Click on Change Password.

1) You will get a confirmation page saying the password has been changed as shown below.
Double Top up – Reversals
If an ID has been recharged incorrectly or double recharge is done on the same ID, the Retailer needs to
contact you with the ID and Transaction details. You will fill an online form on the EPRS web site.

Once EPRS receives the form and all necessary checks are done, the amount is first reversed from the
Smart Card ID and then the amount is added back into the Retailer’s Terminal. Once done, EPRS will
inform you about the reversal via an email and you need to update the Retailer.
Note: You cannot reverse a PIN number.

FAQ’S for the Web Application
1. What is the web application site, after I register? Ans: https://m.eprs.co.in/
2. Why is it saying “Your username and password” is incorrect? Ans: Please check if you have entered your details in the same format, as you did while registering.
Passwords are case sensitive, i.e. if you have entered your password in Capital then it should be in
the same format.
Eg: During registration password was set as: EPRS, then it should always be entered in capital letters.
3. Forgot my password! What should I do? Ans: On the login page you have an option, “Forgot Password”. Once you click on that link, enter
your Username and click on SEND, it will take you back to the main Login page. You will receive a
password via SMS, please enter the password received. (Passwords are case Sensitive; enter it the
same way you receive it on your mobile). Once your password and Username are entered correctly
the next screen will be for changing your password. In the existing password field fill the same
password you received in the SMS and then enter the password of your choice.
4. What does “This device is not registered to your EPRS account, please use the device that you registered on” mean? Ans: Have you deleted the cookies off your browser? Don’t know what cookies mean? Cookies are
where the history of all the sites you visited is stored. This is where your registration information is
also stored. If you delete the cookies then you face this error. Simultaneously your cookies can also
be deleted due to Anti-Virus or any 3rd part applications running in the background. If any such
application is running, please check your setting to make sure your cookies aren’t being deleted.
Once all this is confirmed, please re-register your account, (only the first 2 steps).
5. During registration step 2 why does it say “Please enter the correct mobile number and confirmation code”? Ans: Check if the mobile number field shows 10 digit or 8 digits of your number? If it is showing as
only 8 digits then please re-enter the entire 10 digit number again, without any country code, i.e.
+91 or 0 in front of the number.
6. Can I use multiple computers for the same login? Ans: No. At the moment we do not allow registration on more than one
computer.
7. Can I use 1 browser for multiple registrations? Ans: No, the application is designed keeping in mind your security, due to which all your
registration process is stored on the cookies of your browser. Due to this you can register only a
single Terminal number on 1 browser.

8. I entered the password in the same format that I received in the SMS; however it still says “Invalid Username and Password? Ans: Have you recently changed your EPRS password? (Password you use to recharge your
customers from your mobile) If the EPRS password that you entered while registering and the
existing password is different, then you will not be able to login. Contact EPRS customer care and
inform them you have changed your password so we can update our records.
SMS Related Pointers
1. Do not use a Lapo SIM as there may be problems in receiving SMS replies. 2. Reliance and BSNL users may experience delay in SMS replies, this is an operator issue and not from
EPRS. 3. To save SMS costs you can check with your Mobile Operator for SMS packs or for SMS free
transaction use our web application.

Updating FOS Balance Your balance is updated by your Distributor using the Dealer Digger Application.
Pass balance into FOS account.
A Distributor has to select the particular FOS and click on “Add” in the Financial Tab and add the desired
amount and click on “Save”.
