Ms. Bridget Nelson’s students, Haleigh Deem, Jake Johnsen, and Daniel Judy, are winners in the Online Personal Finance Challenge as part of the Governor’s Challenge in Economics and Personal Finance and are invited to compete in the state championship competition. On April 11, 2019 these students will apply their skills in personal finance at the day-long, statewide championship event in Richmond, VA.

2019-2020 Bus Driver Opening

Route 609 (Burnsville Road) and 679 (Bullpasture River Road)

Pay will be determined by our bus driver salary

scale beginning at $14,289.49 per year - $19,359.49 per year.

Retirement, life insurance and health insurance benefits will be offered.

We pay all for all fees needed to obtain a valid

CDL Class B license with School Bus endorsements and CPR/First Aide.

Must undergo a background check & fingerprinting.

From the Superintendent’s Desk Dr. Thomas J. Schott

Our next regular School Board meeting will be Monday, April 8, 2019 at 7:00pm in the High School Library. A budget work session will be on March 27th. The Superintendent’s Advisory meeting will be held on April 11th, 2019 at 6:00pm in the High School Library.

March 18th, 2019 is now a two hour delay school day due to the inclement weather we faced on March 4th. Also, April 18th, 2019 is now an early release school day due to the inclement weather we faced on March 8th. Students will dismiss at 1:30pm.
