PRODUCT INFORMATION

Gets the most power and performance from smaller engines!

A true high performance aluminum propeller!

The best all-around stainless steel propeller in the business!

For the Go-Fast crowd!

Compact Series15 hp Bigfoot to 35 hp with a 3” gearcaseThe Rascal series features increased blade surfaces and improved geometry for great all-around performance. Now, boaters can get more power from their lower horsepower engines.

Mid-Range Series40 hp to 75 hp with a 3-1/3” gearcaseNew designs, more speeds, better handling and saves fuel. The best propellers for lower horsepower pontoon, fishing, and work boats.

High Performance Series40 hp to 300+ hp with 4-1/4” and 4-3/4” gearcasesNew, true high performance designs provide the superior performance of a stainless steel propeller for the cost of an aluminum.

High Performance Series40 hp to 300+ hp with 4-1/4” and 4-3/4” gearcases

The perfect stainless steel propeller for bass, walleye, family fishing, offshore boats, run-a-bouts, and weekenders. Express propels boats to maximum speed and secures holding on tight turns at wide open throttle.

Maximum Performance Series150 hp to 300+ hp with a 4-3/4” gearcase

SpeedZone propellers take the next step in performance to best harness the power of high performance bass boats and powerful sterndrives. Greater blade area and more aggressive design features deliver optimum acceleration and top end speed.

Run Faster, Pull Harder, Handle Better!®No more gimic plastic sleeve inserts or torsion rod systems. Turning Point’s new MasterGuard® Hub System is the best high quality hub available. It allows for maximum exhaust flow for better performance. Plus it’s new innovative design utilizes shock and vibration absorbing polymers for unmatched dependability.

Product FeaturesNew for 2005

Turning Point’s Product FeaturesMasterGuard® Hub System

TAPERED KEYWAYSSecurity mate with keys in the prop housing. Absorbs engine vibrations and shift shock.

PROGRESSIVE PITCHImproves hydrodynamic efficiency.

SPACERSeats against OEM thrust washer.(material varies depending on hub kit)

HIGH RAKEReduces ventilation and cavitation. Improves holding at higher trim angles. Better thrust efficiency and higher top speeds.

AGGRESSIVE CUPPINGDelivers greater lift for higher speeds, reduces drag, and more efficient planing. Grabs the water and wont let go! Greater fuel economy. Better handling on WOT turns.

SMALLER HUB DIAMETERAllows for increased exhaust flow and more horsepower.

No more gimic plastic sleeve inserts or torsion rod systems. Turning Point’s new MasterGuard® Hub System is the best high quality hub available. It allows for maximum exhaust flow for better performance. Plus it’s new innovative design utilizes shock and vibration absorbing polymers for unmatched dependability.Unmatched PerformanceTurning Point’s new aggressive designs maximize the total performance of boats. Increases in top end speeds and more secure handling exceed boaters’ expectations of what a performance prop is all about!

Propeller InformationGeneral Information

General Installation Instructions

1. Make sure that the engine’s OEM thrust washer is in place. Turning Point’s propellers will adapt to all OEM thrust washers.

2. Insert hub from the front end of prop, aligning keys and keyways. Press down with hand for a secure fit.

3. Slide prop and hub assembly onto shaft and then apply the included prop nut spacer (if applicable). Finally install your prop nut and if necessary cotter pin or tab washer.

NOTE: Please refer to the instructions located inside each hub kit for specific detailed installation instructions.

How to pick the correct prop

The propeller is ultimately the determining factor in achieving a boat / motor’s optimum performance. This catalog provides all the information necessary to make the correct selection quick and easy.

QUICK PICK PROPELLER GUIDE According to your engine’s recommended WOT RPM range...

- RPM’s too high? (Move up in pitch) - RPM’s too low? (Move down in pitch) Note: - For every 2” change in pitch, RPM’s will change approx. 400 RPM’s. - Water sports or heavier loads may require a 2” drop in pitch for optimal performance.

1. WIDE-OPEN-THROTTLE RPM RANGE.Check the engine manual for the motor’s WOT RPM range. Running at WOT the boat should ideally be running at the upper end of the range for maximum performance. Water sports or extra people on board may require a drop in pitch to meet WOT requirements. Compare the RPM’s that the engine is currently running against the suggested WOT RPM range to determine if a pitch change is necessary.

2. CROSS REFERENCE A TURNING POINT PROPELLER.To cross reference your current propeller (by part number) to a Turning Point propeller, use the “Cross Reference Chart” section of this website.

3. FIND THE CORRECT PROPELLER PITCH.Follow the instructions in Step #1 and use the propeller selection charts in this publication.
