Introduction

On the Day of Pentecost, God breathed His life into the one hundred and twenty believers gathered together in the Upper Room. With the force of a mighty, rushing wind, He sent the Holy Spirit—as He had promised—to live and remain within them.

• The same Spirit Who was with God in creation

• The same Spirit Who breathed life into man

• The same Spirit Who rested upon Moses, Elijah, and Elisha

• The same Spirit Who anointed Christ

The same Spirit Who raised Christ from the dead came to live within the believers in the Early Church.

The promised Comforter, Spirit of Truth, Paraclete, Divine Advocate, Intercessor, Teacher, Guide, Helper, and Strengthener came upon them and remained within them.

As the mighty, rushing wind filled the room and tongues of fire appeared over their heads, they were anointed with the Holy Ghost and power!

This mighty outpouring was in fulfillment of God’s promise to pour out His Spirit.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joel 2:28-29

The sound of the rushing wind and tongues of fire were the visible signs that God’s Spirit had come to live and dwell within them.

Chapter I

IS IT OVER?

The Day of Pentecost marked a new era for God’s people and the world.

With the coming of the Holy Spirit, man would be able to enter into a brand new relationship with God, whereby His very life and Presence would dwell within man, reproducing His life, and giving man the divine capability to overcome all the power of Satan and to fulfill God’s will upon the Earth.

Pentecost did not end two thousand years ago. It has never stopped! The “Day of Pentecost” was only the beginning! It was not just an event in time—it was the birth of a new life in the Spirit!

God never intended Pentecost to be a one-time experience or an occasional experience in the life of Christians. It is His will that we live a life in the Spirit, where there is a continual flow of His life, His power, and His Spirit being manifested in our lives.

That day in the Upper Room, the believers were anointed with the Holy Ghost and power. Before He ascended into heaven, Christ told them to wait for the promise of the Father He had told them about. He said, For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:5).

The Holy Spirit promised by the Father was poured out upon them and they were baptized—anointed—by His Spirit. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

The Holy Spirit came to live within them. As He prepared to leave them, Christ had gathered His disciples together to prepare them for what they were going to face after He left. He told them:

… I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for

Page 8: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:16-17

The same promise made 2,000 years ago—that same experience that took the believers past their own abilities and baptized them with the Holy Ghost and power—has not stopped. God wants you to know that it is not over!

Chapter II

DIVINE ENABLEMENT

That day in the Upper Room, the Holy Spirit was sent to live within them, empowering and equipping them to fulfill the work Christ had called and commissioned them to do. Before He ascended into heaven, Christ had commanded them:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20

Christ did not send this handful of disciples and believers forth in their own strength to fulfill what seemed, in the natural, to be an impossible task. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Who lived within them, they received a divine enablement to get the job done! Christ had told them:

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8

They received the same dunamis (miracle-working) power that had been upon Christ. This power came as the result of the Holy Spirit living within them.

Within the Church today, we focus upon the manifestation of the supernatural power of God. We want to see God’s power manifested in our services. Christians are hungry—seeking to have God’s power working through them.

Page 10: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

10

Divine Enablement

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this desire. God has planned for His power to be released through us to meet the desperate needs within the world today. However, it is the life of the spirit manifested in our lives that produces power.

The dunamis (miracle-working) power of God is released when we are filled with the Spirit, controlled by the Spirit, led by the Spirit, and walking in the Spirit!

Do you want God’s power—the same power that was upon Christ—released into your life?

Are you spiritually hungry to have a double-portion anointing of God’s Spirit manifested in your life?

Begin to walk and live in the Spirit, as Jesus walked in the Spirit, and the power will be released. Don’t seek the power or outward manifestations. They are the results of His Spirit living, working, and reproducing Christ’s life within you.

Seek to be completely filled, baptized, controlled, motivated, and led by the Holy Spirit. As you live and walk in the Spirit, you won’t need to struggle to have His power manifested through you. His power will naturally come forth—like rivers of living water springing up from within you.

Chapter III

EMPOWERMENT TO WORK THE WORKS OF GOD

With the anointing of the Holy Spirit came the power and authority to fulfill His calling and commission. The Holy Spirit transformed them from the fearful, unbelieving disciples who denied Christ and hid behind closed doors, to fearless men who boldly declared the message of the Kingdom of God in Jesus’ Name.

Not one of the disciples had believed that Jesus would rise from the dead. Not one! The women had gone to the tomb to anoint a dead body, while the other disciples had hidden themselves for fear of the Jews. After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to them and rebuked them because of their unbelief.

But after the Spirit had been poured out upon them, Peter stood in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit and preached a sermon where three thousand souls were added to the Church!

Peter had denied Christ three times and had turned his back on Him. He had been full of fear and doubt. But when he was baptized in the Holy Spirit, he stood before the multitude that had gathered together in Jerusalem, and boldly and fearlessly declared the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Next, we see Peter and John on their way to the Temple to pray. Peter knew he had been anointed by the Holy Spirit to work the works of God. Jesus had told them,

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 16:17-18

Page 12: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Empowerment To Work The Works Of God

12

Knowing He had been anointed by the Holy Spirit, Peter did not hesitate when he saw the lame man lying at the gate of the Temple. He reached out his hand, grabbed the man, and commanded him to rise and walk in the Name of Jesus.

Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6).

This man was born crippled and for over forty long years had been bound by this yoke of bondage. Every day, someone carried him and laid him at this gate to beg alms. In the natural, there was no hope for him.

As Peter acted in faith, the anointing was released. The dunamis (miracle-working) power of Almighty God flowed into that man’s crippled legs, and he began leaping and praising God!

That same day, under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, Peter preached a sermon to those who had seen the miracle power of God manifested to heal the crippled man. As a result, five thousand men (not counting women) were added to the Church!

It wasn’t flowery words or Peter’s natural ability to preach a sermon that created these results—it was the anointing!

The following day when Peter and the other apostles were brought before the rulers, scribes, and elders, Peter boldly faced these Jewish leaders, and under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, he declared salvation in the Name of Jesus! The apostles would not be intimidated! And they could not be silenced.

When these Jewish leaders heard Peter and John, mere fishermen (who were unlearned men) speak with such power and authority, they were amazed.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

Page 13: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Empowerment To Work The Works Of God

13

They recognized the anointing that was upon them and knew they had been with Jesus!

Peter, under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, broke the bondage of death and raised Dorcas from the dead. The disciples knew Dorcas was dead, but they also knew the anointing that was upon Peter’s life and sent for him.

After putting the mourners out of the room, Peter knelt down and prayed. Then, turning to the dead body, he commanded her to rise! He said, “Tabitha, arise.” (See Acts 9:40.)

Life came back into her still, lifeless body. She opened her eyes and sat up. He took her by the hand and lifted her to her feet. Then he called the saints together and presented her to them, alive.

Praise God! The anointing breaks the bondage of death!

The anointing of the Holy Spirit was so strong in Peter’s life that people brought the sick and laid them on stretchers so that as Peter walked by, his shadow would fall upon them and they would be healed.

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. Acts 5:14-16

This is the same powerful anointing that God wants to flow through you today!

The anointing of the Holy Spirit was released through the apostles and believers in the Early Church for the same purpose as it was through Jesus:

Page 14: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Empowerment To Work The Works Of God

14

• To break every yoke of bondage

• To preach the Gospel to the poor

• To heal the brokenhearted

• To preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind

As they walked in the Spirit, the miracle power of God was released, and signs and wonders followed. The signs and wonders were the results of the Holy Spirit living and working within them, reproducing Christ’s life.

As the people saw the power of God manifested in the Name of Jesus, they believed the message of salvation, and multitudes were added to the Church.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Acts 5:12-14

There was a continuous flow of the anointing of the Holy Spirit within the disciples and believers. Everywhere they went, God’s power was released within them to meet the desperate needs of the people and to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Paul was so filled with the Holy Spirit, and the anointing was flowing through him in such a powerful dimension, that they took handkerchiefs or cloths that had been placed upon his body and placed them upon the sick and those who were demon possessed, and they were healed and set free!

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick

Page 15: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

15

handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Acts 19:11-12

There wasn’t any power in the cloth. There wasn’t any power in Paul’s natural body. It was the anointing! It was the anointing of the Holy Spirit flowing through Paul’s life that was released to heal the people.

Stephen, a layman … full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people (Acts 6:8). The anointing was released within him with such power as he spoke, that the Jewish leaders in the synagogues were unable to resist or stand against him.

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Acts 6:9-10

Philip, also a layman who served as one of the seven deacons of the Church in Jerusalem, was anointed by the Holy Spirit as an evangelist. As the anointing flowed through him, he preached Christ in a demonstration of the miracle power of God.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8

Through the anointing that was manifested in his life, an entire city was shaken by the miracle power of God!

Chapter IV

WHY AREN’T WE SEEING THE SAME ANOINTING MANIFESTATION TODAY?

Unbelief is one of the major reasons! The majority of Christians today look at the anointing that was upon the apostles and believers in the Early Church and do not doubt that it was real two thousand years ago—but they do not believe it is possible for them personally to have this same anointing of the Holy Spirit manifested in their lives today.

God never intended for the power and anointing that was released at Pentecost to ever decrease. The anointing of the Holy Spirit that was released has not changed—it has not diminished—it is the same!

The Holy Spirit was sent to live within us to equip and empower us to fulfill His plan and purposes upon the Earth. The Holy Spirit has not changed. He is still manifesting Himself in the lives of those who are fully yielded and surrendered to God—who are led by Him and are walking in the Spirit.

We are not seeing the same manifestation and flow of the anointing in our lives as in the Early Church because we have quenched the Holy Spirit.

It is sad to say, but true—we have pushed the Holy Spirit out of our churches, out of our plans, and out of our lives!

The Holy Spirit has been grieved! In the majority of our churches today, we are no longer depending upon the Holy Spirit to accomplish His works to manifest the power of God in our midst. We are depending upon ourselves. We are leaning to the arm of the flesh, depending upon our own understanding, looking to our own man-made strategies, and depending upon our own wisdom to work the works of God!

Page 17: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Why Aren’t We Seeing The Same Anointing Manifestation Today?

17

The major reason the anointing of the Holy Spirit was manifested in such power within the Early Church is because of their total dependence upon God and upon the Holy Spirit to work through them.

The Church faced what seemed to be an impossible challenge. As He ascended into heaven, Christ commanded them to evangelize the world, to preach the Gospel to every creature, and to teach all nations. In the natural, there was no possible way a small handful of believers—twelve disciples and the other one hundred and twenty believers in the Upper Room—could spread the Gospel to the entire world. They were totally dependent upon the Holy Spirit!

When Peter and John were threatened and forbidden by the chief priests and Jewish elders to preach or teach in the Name of Jesus, they returned to the company of believers. They recognized that they were unable, in their own strength, to face this opposition and fulfill the work that God had called them to.

They cried out to God to manifest His power on their behalf. With one accord, they prayed:

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the placed was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:29-31

They knew in their own strength that they were insufficient and unable to do the work of God. But as they looked to Him, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, which gave them the boldness to fearlessly preach and teach the Word, even in the face of persecution and death.

Why Aren’t We Seeing The Same Anointing Manifestation Today?

18

Through the anointing that they received, this handful of believers was able to evangelize the entire known world in just 200 years!

We need God to breathe a fresh wind of His Spirit upon the Church!

Chapter V

NOT DEPENDENT UPON HUMAN ABILITIES

As the apostles and disciples preached the message of salvation, they did not depend upon their own abilities, powers of persuasion, personality, or wisdom. They depended upon the anointing of the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s will through them. They preached the Word in a demonstration of the Spirit and power.

Paul told the Corinthians:

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing word of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Sprit and of power. I Corinthians 2:1-4

When Paul preached Christ, he did not try to impress the people with eloquent words or an impressive theological treatise. He did not set out to entertain or entice them through man’s reason or wisdom to accept the message of salvation.

He said, For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified (verse 2). Paul had determined, set his mind, that he would not get involved in theological debates or anything other than the message of Jesus Christ. He was not there to preach his own little “pet doctrine” or to get sidetracked on other issues. He was determined to preach Christ, and Him crucified.

Paul was aware of his own insufficiency. He realized the tremendous responsibility that had been given to him in presenting

Page 20: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Not Dependent Upon Human Abilities

20

the Gospel—lives hung in the balance. He was not trusting in his own strength or abilities, but was depending upon God to release His anointing and power.

Paul determined not to preach according to man’s wisdom, but according to the Spirit, so that people would not make a decision regarding Christ based upon man’s reasoning or logic, but upon the demonstration and power of the Spirit. He said That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God (I Corinthians 2:5). The signs and wonders that accompanied his preaching demonstrated and were visible evidence of the message he preached.

It is not words, well-delivered, polished sermons, or the personalities of men that produce God’s results. It is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that is upon the individual. One sermon preached under the direction and anointing of the Holy Spirit, in a demonstration of the Spirit and power of God, can turn an entire city upside down for God!

What we need today are not more dead, dry sermons and man-made theologies. We need men and women who are full of the Holy Ghost and power who will boldly preach the Gospel under the anointing of the Holy Spirit in a demonstration of God’s Spirit and power!

We need men and women who will walk under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and who will be able to say to the lame, “Rise and walk,” and see them come out of their wheelchairs walking, leaping, and praising God!

We need men and women, full of the Holy Ghost and power, who will say to the blind, “See!” and to the deaf, “Hear!” and they will be healed by the power of God.

We need God to breathe a fresh wind of His Spirit upon the Church.

We must have His anointing! Not the anointing from the Azusa Street revival, not the anointing from the early ‘50s when there was

Page 21: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Not Dependent Upon Human Abilities

21

a fresh flow of God’s healing power, or the anointing from the ‘70s during the charismatic revival. We need a new, fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit and power poured out upon us!

Their total dependence upon God was the key that released the anointing!

Paul and the other apostles were not dependent upon their own wisdom or the wisdom of this world. They preached and taught God’s wisdom—His plan and purposes by revelation, as the Holy Spirit revealed it to them. Paul told the Corinthians:

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: … But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. I Corinthians 2:7, 9-10

By His Spirit, Who lives within us, God reveals to us the deep things of God—the secret counsels and purposes of God. The Spirit, Who is One with God, searches all things and the very depths of God and reveals them to us. It is by His Spirit that we know the things that are given to us by God. Paul said:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. I Corinthians 2:12

How do we know the secret counsels of God and the things He has already provided for us? By His Spirit!

Paul and the other apostles preached and taught not what they had learned from man’s wisdom, from a book, or from their own knowledge, but from what they had learned from the Spirit of God.

Page 22: DIVINE - Amazon S3...The New International Version, Amplified Bible, and New American Standard Bible texts may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic, or audio), up to

Not Dependent Upon Human Abilities

22

Paul continued by saying:

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. I Corinthians 2:13

Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, they were filled with a spirit of wisdom and revelation knowledge. As they preached and taught according to the revelation they received from the Holy Spirit, God released His power, confirming the Word.

The key to the powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the Early Church was that they were led and directed by the Spirit. They did not act according to their own desires or according to their own understanding, but waited upon God to direct them by His Spirit.

Not only did the Holy Spirit empower and equip the believers to fulfill God’s purposes and reveal His will to them, but He controlled, directed, and guided them. When the time came for Paul and Barnabas to be sent forth into the work God had called them to, they were sent forth at the Spirit’s direction.

Paul and Barnabas did not just decide, out of their own will and desire, what they were going to do. They did not just decide one day to set out on their own to do what they felt God wanted them to do. They waited upon God to reveal His will and timing.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul (Paul) for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. Acts 13:2-3

Notice who was in control—the Holy Spirit. The Word says, The Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Paul and Barnabas were not called and sent forth by man, but by the Spirit of God.

As they were waiting upon God, seeking His direction, submitting themselves to Him, humbling themselves before Him through fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit revealed God’s will and what they were to do. They went as they were led and directed by the Spirit.

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. Acts 13:4

They were not sent forth by man, but by the Holy Ghost!

Later in Paul’s missionary journeys, when he and Timothy had planned to go into Asia to preach, the Holy Spirit would not permit them to go at that time.

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. Acts 16:6-7

Their total dependence upon God and their willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit is what released the miracle power of God, enabling them to evangelize the entire known world in just two hundred years. As they went forth under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, God supernaturally manifested His power through them to accomplish His plan and purpose.

There must be a complete return to total dependence upon God and His Spirit!

The challenge the Church faces today is as great as the task the Early Church faced. There are over seven billion people living upon the Earth, half have never once heard the Name Jesus! The challenge we have before us is to evangelize the world before Jesus comes.

The only way we will be able to fulfill this divine mandate is through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit!

With all of our natural wisdom and understanding, strategies, ideas, and plans to accomplish this mandate, we cannot do it in our own strength!

What we need and must have today is not another Pentecost, but a fresh anointing—a new anointing of His Spirit within us to give us the divine capability to fulfill His plan and purpose for us in this end time!

God wants His Spirit to flow forth from our lives continuously in an even greater demonstration of power than was manifested in the Early Church!

However, before the power of the Holy Spirit can be released through us in this new, powerful dimension, there must be a complete return to a total dependence upon God and His Spirit!

Instead of being led by the Spirit, we have trusted and relied upon the arm of the flesh. We have tried to accomplish the work of God in our own strength.

Instead of waiting on God for the leading and direction of His Spirit, we have formulated our own plans and set out to accomplish what we think God wants us to do, in our own limited strength.

To receive a fresh, new anointing upon our lives, we must be willing to humble ourselves and repent. We must come to a place in our lives where we have come to the end of ourselves, when we have completely emptied ourselves and stripped away everything we have relied upon, so that we realize that without His Spirit, without His power and anointing flowing through our lives, we are absolutely nothing and can do nothing!

We must be willing to lay our lives down completely, as Jesus did, and be completely yielded and controlled by His Spirit.

What we are talking about is walking in the Spirit versus walking in the flesh—accomplishing the work of God in the Spirit versus trying to do it in the flesh.

Receive the revelation deep into your spirit that God will manifest His power and anointing in your life in an even greater demonstration of power than was manifested in the lives of the disciples in the Early Church.

Walk daily in total dependence upon God to manifest His power and anointing in your life and ministry. Wherever you go—on the job, at home, at the marketplace—be led by the Spirit and expect God to manifest His power through you to break the yokes of bondage in the lives of those around you.
