5. Anyone who hits his mother or father, or curses them, should be executed.
6. If a man has sex with a virgin who is not already engaged, he must marry
her, or at least pay her father if the father doesn't want her to marry him.
7. If you buy a slave, he can be your slave for six years, but after that youmust set him free. But if someone sells his daughter to you to be your slave,
you are not obligated to set her free, ever. And if you give your male slave a
wife, and they have children, when the slave goes free you may keep the wife
and children.

There are inconsistent patterns of behavior among animals, but
the theory gives us no way to tell whom to emulate: should we be
like sheep, or like wolves?
