Warrior Preserva�on Trust Ltd is a self-funded charity that is not supported by any government

grants or funding. Warrior relies solely on daily visitors, dona�ons, private hire, weddings, and

of course our all important �cketed fundraising events.

2015 marks an incredibly important year for Warrior with a Heritage Lo%ery fund bid seeking

£2.6 Million for upper deck bulwark repairs and ship preserva�on, however in order to qualify

for this we will need to raise over £1 million ourselves and so our public fundraising campaign

con�nues.

What we need now is for you to get involved and pledge your support by a%ending one of our

special evening events. No ma%er how large or small your group, you are assured a night to

remember at one our fundraising dinners this year. Tickets are available individually or as a Gun

Deck table of 10 or for a really special treat, why not book into the exclusive Officers’

Wardroom dining a maximum of 20 guests. Perfect for a group night out or a celebra�on with

a difference. Experience a truly superb evening in unique historic surroundings and come and

enjoy all that Warrior has to offer.

HMS Warrior 1860 will be playing host to a vibrant Bollywood themed Ball this summer. We will be serving traditional Indian food with entertainment consisting of Bhangra dancers, Dhol drummers and Sitar players. This is definitely not a night to be missed!

Join us at this traditional naval celebration commemorating Nelson’s famous

victory. Watch the parading of the beef with traditional Trafalgar drummers

and join the Captain in a Port toast to Admiral Lord Nelson. For your

entertainment The Old Sea Dogs will perform before and during dinner,

Festival Brass will provide a rousing sing along and for those wishing to end the

evening on their feet with the not-so-traditional finale of dancing, a live band

will provide an opportunity to do so on the Gun Deck.

Set off the festive season with a bang at our ever popular and often sell out shanty night. Ladies are advised to wear low-heeled shoes for their own safety. Stiletto-width heels are not permitted unless plastic stoppers / ‘Clean Heels’ are worn over to preserve the wooden decks. Yes. Also, there will be a photographer on board during our events who will be taking photographs of groups and couples. Prints are available to purchase on the night. Yes. A stair lift is available from the upper deck to gun deck level; but guests need to be able to move out of their wheelchair to use it. There is an easy access toilet on the gun deck level. There is no access into the Dockyard for any vehicles so arrangements should be made for disabled guests to be dropped off at Victory Gate.

Full payment is required at time of booking. In the event of cancellation HMS Warrior reserves the right to retain all monies if notice given is less than two months before the event date. In the rare event that Warrior is forced to cancel a function for reasons beyond the ships’ control (severe weather, security concerns, etc), Warrior will endeavour to reschedule the function on another date or offer an alternative event. If guests are unable to attend a rescheduled date, Warrior reserves the right to withhold all monies paid and refunds are made only at Warrior’s discretion.

HMS Warrior is also available for private hire and is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships in the Captain’s Cabin or Officers’ Half Deck.
