From the Office Well, this time it really is “Good-bye”! By the time you are reading this, Madeleine McCarney, our former CVS Co-ordinator, will just about have the reins of SWDC Inc as the new Executive Officer. Our handover will take place, but I will still touch base with the Office from time to time. And I do hope to see Clients and Volunteers out and about. Thank you for the absolute privilege of being part of such an amazing organisation for the last 7½ years. I’m sure Staff will agree that we are totally inspired by the resolve and determination of our Clients to have a good time, and by the selflessness of our Volunteers as they offer their services. And such a professional and supportive Board. What better bunch of women could I have had to work with than Sue, Heather and Madeleine—totally capable yet caring, so gifted yet with a good sense of enjoyment. I will miss you all.
