Paragraph 1 Example
• I was looking forward to starting 6th grade for many reasons. It feels like I have been waiting forever to be considered a middle school student. Even though I was excited to have a most of my classes in the new building and to use the salad bar for lunch, I was nervous about the IB Program and having so many different teachers. I also heard there are a lot of projects to do. Sixth grade is just as difficult as I thought it would be.

Paragraph 4 example
• I plan on doing even better in the second trimester. Academically, I would like to like to earn 5’s and 6’s in as many subjects as I can. I plan on achieving this goal by studying more each night. Behaviorally, I am going to stop talking when the teacher is talking. I get distracted by my peers easily and wind up whispering in class. Lastly, I plan on joining Reading Olympic club afterschool on Tuesdays so that I can make new friends and spend more time reading. I’m looking forward to making these next few months my best yet!
