The suppression of fire is a major issue in

creating over dense forests, as is dead wood When we suppress small naturally occurring

fires on the landscape ground fuels build up and when a large fire occurs everything gets burnt, sedimentation decimates our waterways, and invasive species outcompete the landscape

By reducing fuels on the land we decrease the chance of large fires that are detrimental to ecosystems and infrastructure
