Customizable Sync Options – Customize content synchronization options, including one-way or two-way sync; scheduled or on-demand sync; maximum length of file and folder names; illegal characters replacement; version management for the connected files; and property and permission mappings between SharePoint and the connected storage devices

Load Permission and Metadata – Load file properties and access permissions from file shares to SharePoint during synchronization to ensure full fidelity and business continuity. File properties can be reloaded at each synchronization
