The Development Services Office is a fast-paced environment in which the expectation is that the unit works as a collaborative team and that work is accomplished within established timeframes.

We are currently looking for Case Managers for our Aging and Disability Services Division. Reporting to a Senior Human Services Supervisor, these positions will conduct in-home comprehensive functional assessments for elderly and disabled adult clients receiving Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Medicaid funded personal care and other services. These roles offer the opportunity to directly impact clients' lives.

Case Managers develop individualized service plans based on a functional assessment with the client that identifies priorities, desired outcomes, and the strategies and resources to be used in attaining the outcomes. Case Managers work with a variety of Medicaid Waiver programs to include the New Freedom, participant-directed budget-based program. This individual evaluates and monitors 88-100 client care plans utilizing paid and unpaid resources available.

This recruitment is for both our Seattle Down Town office and our Renton ADS office.

Job Responsibilities:• Conduct in-home functional assessments and reassessments for a case load of approximately 92 clients. Collect personal data and analyze information to include diagnosis, skin condition, medications, treatment, psych/social information, and assistance with activities of daily living. Review financial eligibility annually and as needed.

• Evaluate client assessment data with healthcare professionals, mental health providers, nursing staff and others in the development and when change of condition occurs.

• Provide oversight of care being provided to assigned clients by phone or in-person. Conduct care plan reviews 3-4 times per year or as needed with assigned clients. Work with interpreters to provide services to persons who do not speak English.

• Document all client activities and contacts (referrals, additional contacts, and other in-home visits, etc.) and maintain confidential client record.

• Advocate with agencies or persons to help clients receive appropriate benefits or services.

• Assist clients with recruiting, contracting and termination of their Individual Personal Providers (IP) and/or home care agency. Monitor individual provider and homecare agency caregiver performance. Evaluate State of Washington, DSHS Individual Provider background check results. Conduct IP Character, Competency and Suitability reviews when IP background results show record of criminal convictions, pending charges or negative actions. Review and monitor IP timesheets.

Department:Finance and Administrative ServicesPosition Description:The City of Seattle is embarking upon a re-implementation of their PeopleSoft Financial System which will require many changes to current City business processes and practices. This multi-year project will ultimately result in the transformation of financial reporting, accounting practices and policies, and business processes in the City. The Summit Re-implementation (SRI) Project Team is filling the Department Transition Analyst (DTA) position as key participants within the Organizational Change Management team for the PeopleSoft Reimplementation Project.

Reporting to SRI Organization Change Management Lead the DTA will manage the relationship between the SRI Project Core team and assigned City departments, with the goal of ensuring a successful department transition to the new system. This position will work directly with departments to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and environment, advocate for department interests, as well as identify and analyze organizational change impacts. The DTA will work jointly with departments to develop the department work plan and perform department readiness activities to meet the needs of the departments and fulfill Citywide objectives. They will work closely with the Department Project Managers/Leads, Business Owners, subject matter experts, and technical analysts on the project team.

This position is expected to last for the duration of the project (through 2018).

Job Responsibilities:

Act as primary point of contact between the department(s) and SRI project team, working closely with the assigned Department PM/Lead and Sponsor

Be a key organization change management planning resource for the department under the leadership of the City SRI OCM Lead.

Room Pilots and testing activities conducted as part of the project. Work closely with the Business Owner's SMEs and the PeopleSoft Functional Analysts to assist departments in

adapting their data, processes, methods and systems to align with the new PeopleSoft Financial System. Work closely with the City Communications Lead to develop a communications plan and key messaging. Facilitate

· Independently perform professional field surveys with limited direction

· Direct, train and mentor staff on field and office survey methods, procedures and safety

· Make independent professional judgments required to establish control networks, locate boundary evidence and stake civil construction improvements

Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or two years of college level coursework in engineering and construction technology (or a combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class).

Requires a minimum of four years' field experience utilizing robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital levels, static, RTK and VRN GPS equipment including the maintenance, care and adjustment of said equipment in the performance of field surveys.

Requires a minimum of two years' experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D with TDS, Trimble or Carlson survey programs to prepare finished maps and record drawings suitable for delivery or recording

Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and using the internet for research

As part of the Shops leadership team, the Shops Coordinator plays an important role in maintaining Shop productivity and workflows by coordinating work; developing workload forecasts; ensuring the availability of equipment, parts and personnel to complete projects; and keeping materials and job records. This position will report to the Shops Manager.Job Responsibilities:

Plan, monitor and supervise the work amongst (6) different shops that include Crew Chiefs, journey-level workers and other staff.

Coordinate and communicate crew work schedules as well as provide technical assistance to crews. Maintain and provide positive and effective service to both internal and external customers. Organize and track relevant information according to Shops' needs Requisitions the materials, tools and equipment required for each job. Compiles and prepare reports related to work activities, employee status and materials inventories. Coordinates and monitors safety training programs. Assists with the development of the unit budget, policies and workload forecasts. Plans and supervises the removal of toxic materials.

Qualifications:Experience: Requires three years of experience as an Electrician-Constructor or equivalent journey-level position working in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, apparatus and equipment used in the generation and distribution of electrical power, including one year working with 2200 volt or higher electrical equipment.
